I'm not sure if you know this but there's going to be a Beyond the Boundary sequel movie coming out later on this year which is going to follow the events of the anime three years after the last episode. link for the trailer.
watched two episodes of death parade and i'm already flooded with feels.
no srsly i don't know if i can continue. the emotion is strong in this series. xD
it only gets better from there.
(and by better i mean there are more feels to come)
however the latest episode wasn't as feel-sy and had a more light-hearted/happy ending but it was still really good and it was also nice to see a happy ending to a episode in this anime. xD
^ yeah you're actually very lucky that you got into drrr at the time season 2 started (it has 6 episodes so far. It's going to be into three cours, 12-13 episodes in each cour and will cover the remaining 10 volumes). I got into it in 2013 and was so sad and convinced it wouldn't get another season and hence I read the light novels. Another season was announced in 2014 when I just finished reading them. Now I wish I didn't do that, because certain events won't be shocking to me, and I know how it ends.
i do feel bad for those people who got into it in 2010 though. 5 years of waiting must have been very painful.
and i'm also happy you liked it BTW. the first season actually barley covers the series, and i promise you season 2 (mainly the 2nd & 3rd cours) will be even better.
Definitely!! If I had gotten into it any earlier I probably would've done the same as you lmao.
I love love loved it!! Regardless of which character the episode focused on I enjoyed it, I've become pretty attached to abou every character at this point. I'm downloading the first 6 episodes as we speak!! Really looking forward to them! When do new episodes come out?

yesyeyses!! I saw that trailer the the other day and I'm extremely!! distressed!!
^ That's the main reason why I loved it to! The fact that every character was so likable (especially Izaya, Celty, Kida, Mikado and Kyohei's gang!) that I didn't care which point of view the show focused on and hence it remained interesting. That's why I find the show really unique compared to most anime.
And new episodes of Durarara x2 Shou come out once a week every Saturday/Sunday, depending on your timezone. I'm pretty sure it's Saturday for America. :)
@ Sky: eeehhh you serious? xD
I thought the third episode was quite happy. I'm glad that not all episodes can lead to a bad ending. If they all had to have sad outcomes, I probably would have stopped the series lol.

Izaya, Shizuo, Celty, Kida, and Kyohei's friend group (particularly Erika and Walker) are my faves omg. Izaya's the classic dumpster personified kind of character that earns a special place in my heart god
Sweet!! Maybe I can binge the first six episodes today and get all caught up for tomorrow

Izaya literally became like, my favourite anime character of all time xD
I pretty much binged the whole first season again right before the second one started lol. I was amazed at how much of the plot I actually forgot lmao. I'm still not used to only one episode airing every week. :(

^ Agreed. Especially with Durarara, since it's one of those shows were it's important to remember pretty much everything that has happened in previous episodes, and it's kind of hard to remember everything when it's one episode a week. D:
lmao Shizuo handled it all very well though. I didn't know that pressing an elevator button so much can make your finger bleed. And Izaya needs more screen time. And I'm really starting to like Vorona. <3
Also, for those who have read the Durarara light novels:
Do you guys think the first cour is going to end with the end of Volume 6? Volume 5 has now been fully adapted, and therefore they have four episodes to adapt volume 6 (Myanimelist has Shou down for 12 episodes). I really hope they don't end it there, since that's a very bad place to end it for Izaya fans. I'm hoping that the first tiny bit of volume 7 would be in the first cour to ease the craze for what's going to happen at the end of this cour. I'm worried about how fans would react if they literally just end it after volume 6 lol, since it's rather harsh and too much of a cliff hanger to leave it there. If it isn't explained that Izaya has been taken to a hospital and is fine, fans might literally freak out and believe he's dead for like, four months. Since I doubt Volume 6 would take up all 4 episodes since it's not that big of a volume, they could sneak in some of Volume 7 at the end.
euuugghhh I still can't get over how my favourite anime (Durarara and Kuroko) are currently airing on the same day, and started airing at the same time. So much hype for me to handle, and it makes my Sundays more enjoyable. Also the fact that both Anime have a character who shares the same voice actor makes it funny. xD

^wait seriously?? i thought they would just release it all at once. i mean i knew that they were going to break up the second season but i didn't know we'd have to wait a whole year to see the finale. D:
^ Yep! The second cour isn't coming out until July this year, and the third cour will be out Janurary 2016. All three have 12 episodes each. ;___;
and omg you like durarara!? sweet!! :D

^that really sucks. :( i honestly thought that all of season 2 was going to be released this year but oh well.
yep, sure do!! ^w^ i've only watched the anime though. celty is my fave.
omg celty was adorable in this latest episode of durarara. <3
I might have remembered less of the light novel than I thought. I was so expecting the pen scene to happen and was waiting for it the entire episode looool. It looks like it will happen probably in episode 11.

any good action anime lately? All the anime I'm watching are slowly coming to a close, and I need more DX
lmao i know that feeling, in two weeks when durarara ends i'm going to be like 'now what...?' until july, even though i still have kuroko for another like, 4 months and may even last until the next durarara comes out

Fate stay night UBW is getting its second season this spring. So if you wanna watch that series the animation is incredible during the fight scenes. The story is meh but the fight scenes make up for it imo
Well Tokyo Ghoul: Root A turned out to be just one huge disappointment.
I hope the anime gets a remake like Fullmetal Alchemist because boy does it need one.

I hear towards the end it went REALLY different from how the manga is
^ Oh wow awesome! My sister loves Steins Gate and she would be happy to hear that there's a new anime.
MAJOR SPOILER FOR DURARARAX2 EPISODE 12:
OH MY GOD
NO
NOOOOOOO
NOT MY HUSBANDO ;______;
the bastard had it coming though. lmao I KNEW THEY WOULD END THE COUR WITH THAT SCENE. I WAS SILENTLY WAITING FOR IT. JULY BETTER COME QUICKLY
well durararax2 shou was pretty good, but since it unfortunately translated the three worst arcs in the series, it's not that good compared to season 1 and the remaining cours. Still amazing though. <3

Yeah, it was COMPLETELY different to the manga. They messed up so many things. I mean I could rant all day on all of the things that they didn't include/messed up but I'm not going to type that all up onto here.
If anyone wants to get into Tokyo Ghoul, please don't watch the anime. You are doing yourself a big favor by reading the manga and ignoring the anime.
I really hope that Studio Pierrot doesn't make a season 3 because I really don't want them to taint :re.
If anything, I hope that a different anime studio acquires the rights to Tokyo Ghoul because it desperately needs a remake. I think Studio Bones would do a really good job with Tokyo Ghoul if they ever acquired the rights to it.
^ Oh wow really? I was actually considering trying out Tokyo Ghoul when I got the time, since it seems like a popular anime at the moment (and now that one of my favourite anime has currently stopped running, I have more time for it).

Tokyo Ghoul HURTS MY HEART AND SOUL. But I love it. Totally worth the read.
I actually started reading it, saw an anime was being made of it, and opted to watch the anime which I did really enjoy. But then I went back and actually read the entirety of it and the manga is just so good.
Root A was a huge letdown, though I still haven't seen every episode of it. Although, the use of Unravel in the last episode still managed to make me want to cry.
