I still think NC is worth watching. If anything his stuff has gotten better after having a severe dip in quality just before he quit.

I don't like either nowadays, I miss the simplicity of the Critics videos. His videos didn't need a plot or some gimmick every episode to be good, but that's what we're getting now.

AVGN just kinda ran out of steam, at least in my opinion. His new videos aren't very good, and his older ones have aged terribly. There are also a lot of people inspired by him that make videos much better, like Jontron, that make watching AVGN a bit of a drag to me.
