Winter is over, the beautiful snow has melted. I did like the winter look, oh well, I am sure I will get used to the green again.
Goal is to collect 225 saws from houses and 40 logs from the loggers

Yes, the islands look so different now they are green again. My trees are still snow covered though, so only a partial thaw so far. I wonder if they will lose the snow soon too.

I want to buy a sanctum, but its not letting me. Would be curious if anyone is actually able to buy one. Is there a reason one can think of (besides not having the money, which is not my case) to prevent you from upgrading?

Don't know if it's the case for you, but if they program the 25% discount as a "cashback" type offer then the game might not be letting you purchase it unless you have the full 1200 gems that would normally be required. Do you have between 900 and 1200 gems?

Nice! My back yard is a winter wonderland. Green seems very premature and strange on my islands from where I'm sitting. I get that technically it's spring, but it was -18 this morning, so spring and green seem very far away indeed.

I went on a trip to the snow about 30 years ago.

We managed to stay below 40C this summer. It is autumn here now.

I am pleased I can now find Maboo and kudos quickly.

It's been Spring in West Texas since before winter officially began. We barely had any cold and we turned on the sprinklers for the grass last week!

Should I get a Swap Force house while they're at half price or continue to save up for Mags?

I don't get a great payout from the SF houses--but I do get a payout. Mags is fun, inexpensive and just lets you call your own villain.

if you have NO SF houses, I say get one, especially if having one still allows you to have 1 SF of each element for bats. Mags isn't going anywhere (for a while)

I never noticed a low payout from SF houses .

If you have plenty of traps, Mags pays for himself fast. I let my sheep/trolls build up all week then (once I see the weekly quest) spend 5 traps on Pain-Yatta and clear all of them for 20-30 chests, each with a guaranteed gem.

My islands are unusually blessed with excessive Traptanium deposits but I would think most people would be able to collect 5 magic traps per week without too much trouble.

Ditto. Takes me a bit longer than a week to collect 5 traps, but it means more invaders pile up. This morning I manged 36 silver chests and 1 gold - and I still have almost 5 hours left for more to spawn.

Although I have found that the spring thaw seems to have attracted more traptanium - instead of maybe 1 a day, I'm suddenly seeing 1 or 2 each time I open the app.

I never clear invaders unless a Skylander has a quest to clear them, the invader has a limited time(like Evilized Sugarbats or Chompy Pods) or I trap Pain-Yatta. Even with the benefit of Cape Girl to speed up clearing time, I save them up to get chests. I decided on getting the Swap Force house, as I already have a multitude of Swappers and Gorm and Tuck.

I have over 1300 gems and I still can't buy one.

I called Activision and created a case and it seems that I and others got their attention. They have disabled the entire sanctum sale as it was not working. Hope its back tomorrow.

I have over 1300 gems and I still can't buy one.

I have over 2000 gems and still can't buy one either. When you click on info the purple buy box is smaller and has nothing on it.

not low, when I said not great, I meant gems frequency. I have 5 houses and get maybe 2 gem payouts in a 24 hour period (3 collec tions)

Yeah I was able to get two more Sanctums as well. I now need the last two. I had all but 1 from last years promos, but then I lost my game and had to start over. When I restarted, it actually re-triggered 3 of them again so I was able to earn those ones. I bought one on the last sale and two more today. Its really helped me clear out some space.

I'm getting them, too. When they were first there, I assumed they were leftover trees, but I still keep getting them to spawn.

the trees "melted" too! they were a couple days behind the snowy ground, but after the update (wave 4 added) all the trees I'd kept up were just plain ol' green

Ma-Boo is now very easy to spot!
