Hi, I'm basically new here so this is my first post =D

Anyway, whilst (infrequently) lurking in the shadows as a guest, I (think) I saw the idea requests for sheet music on music from the games being tossed around here and there. Now, for some...reason, I have spontaneously decided to arrange some of this music for piano in the form of the end-credits songs from the last two Legend of Spyro games - This Broke Soul' and Guide You Home (I would die for you). I have a pair of (reliably new, as of now) videos on you tube so the songs can be heard by audio and followed by visual as it is being played, as well as the sheet music available on Google docs in pdf format.

I hope the links work because I have no idea how to use those fancy buttons 0.0

Beautiful arrangements! Quite impressive. How long did it take you to compose these two in Sibelius, out of curiousity?

I'm no avid pianist, but I'd certainly love to play the treble part of This Broken Soul on my flute sometime. Lovely pieces! c:

I never played Skylanders, and there are so so many themes, so probably not =c

The Guide You Home score took around 34-5 days I think judging by the creation and finish dates, although I never worked on it solidly for days on end (so maybe under a week?). Most of it was spent listening to the song and actually finding out that it was in 3/4 time, plus trying to pick out the notes from all those strings/synths.
Apparently This Broken Soul took around 5 months, but that's unrealistic :/ (I have no idea)!

MOAR MUSIC!!!

I bashed this out over 2 days for the lolz and because I was bored (and to procrastinate when I'm meant to be revising "Of Mice And Men" and "A view from the Bridge" for my exams tomorrow [I think I'll be OK though]).

If only I could change the title of this topic to a more 'encompassing' scope in order to compensate for a shift in focus in relation to the amount of musical transcriptions I bash out every now and then, *sigh*.

Anyway, enjoy!

Okay, probably the last one I'm ever going to make, And it's big (16 instruments [because that's the limit according to my software] )! Good to go out with a bang, right?

Surprisingly, this didn't take as long as you might expect. Some copy and paste here and there from my previous arrangement of this song, but I also added some new notation. Personally, I don't really like the first half of this arrangement, but the coda is EPIC (or at least in my opinion smilie).
