Things like Wreck-it Ralph are pretty amazing.

Then you have the Street Fighter movies.

Depends.
Wreck It Ralph was pretty good, Pixels looks fine, Agent 47 looks okay.

But then we have stinkers like Mario Bros. and Street Fighter.

I do have high hopes for the Assassin's Creed movie, and I think a Halo one would be great.

Films about video games seem to have a decent track record. Wreck-It Ralph and Indie Game: The Movie are solid.

Films adaptations of certain video games still aren't there yet. I really want Assassin's Creed to turn out well and change that.

Some are awful.

Super Mario Bros and Street Fighter were shocking.

But to give them their due, the Anime Street Fighter movies are pretty good.

I have high hopes for the Ratchet and Clank movie, but I've heard some pretty bad stuff about some of them like Super Mario Bros as Greeble said. Anyone heard of the Sonic movie coming in 2016?

The Prince of Persia movie was pretty good, as well as Tron Legacy.

Maybe Disney should make video game adaptations, they seem to make the best ones.

I think Tron and Wreck It Ralph were original ideas for movies rather than using an existing game to make a movie.

Withholding judgement until the Ratchet & Clank movie comes out. Although the serious lack of PR from Sony makes me thing it's gonna fail. I've heard nothing aside from tidbits passed on by fans. I know too much hype is a bad thing, but no hype at all can be equally as damaging for a movie (and game since there's a PS4 game in the works). <.<;
