I sigh and trot over to Belle. I sit down on the floor beside her. Swallowing and taking a deep breath, I speak.

"Belle, I'm sorry if I made you uncomfortable or anything. I never meant to. I just want to help. I want to be your friend, if you will let me. Well, I'm going to make a fruit salad, for us," I say, before trotting over to the table, gathering the ingredients and starting to work.

Name: Echo
Gender: Male
Age: 24
Species: Draconequus, disguised as pony.
Side: "Worker"
Rank: Worker (I might ask for security guard, here. It'd give him reason to keep an eye on captives and to know people who've tried to intrude)
Personality: Friendly, calm, devoted to others, has strong values. Is incredibly fearful of his pony friends finding out what he truly is. Is not good under stressful situations, and can't keep his form as a pony when stressed out enough.
History: A somewhat young Draconequus that was raised by a pair of pegasi, he tries his best to fit in as a pony, and be friends with the ponies he's grown up with. He's currently working undercover at the Rainbow factory, trying to help the fledgling resistance as best as he can without raising any alarms.
Appearance: A Draconequus with the ability to alter his form (limited to bestial forms, and a specific pony form). Normally appears as a grey pegasus pony with lemon-colored mane, but his 'true' form is a bear-like body, a lupine head, lionlike mane, bull horns, bat ears and wings, a reptilian tail with a sharklike fin, clawed arms covered in canid fur, and hooved pony feet.
Other: He hasn't ąw̛̺̺͎̩͈̜̘o̢̯̲̟k̩̰e͖͜n͏̥ to any powerful Chaos magic like others of his species. He does have the ability to copy others' abilities (Magic, ect...) but only during and shortly after they've used such abilities. As a side effect of this ability, he temporarily gains an image of their cutie mark on his own flank.

Belle curled up under her wings and closed her eyes. For once she felt safe enough to sleep and she let herself doze off taking soft breaths as she slept.

Rainbow thinks for a few minutes, and then taps in some commands on the keyboard quickly yet calmly, and slamming her hoof on 'Enter' shortly thereafter.

A single, large blue eye lights up in the 'Reserves' room, approaching Cobalt and grabbing him by his front legs. The orange-eyed colt struggles and screams, kicking back against the cold metallic body of the blue-eyed monster. It tightens it grip and opens the door, revealing itself in the light. The mechanical beast is a rather tall robotic gryphon with one blue eye stretching across its face. It carries Cobalt to the grinder, and turns the sobbing colt around for a few seconds to say, "You aren't useless. You are useless.", and leaves his soul with that paradoxial statement before letting go, Cobalt screaming before his hooves hit the blades, and he stops the protest, vision red with pain, then gets fed into the machine quickly, bones grinding and blood flying up, splattering the robot.

Hearing the screams of somepony and a few splaters. Having her insane blood killing craze kick in she started working on the spectrum for the rainbow faster. "La la la lalaaaaaaa" Azure started singing as she worked faster and faster eager to find out where those screams came from.

Echo grimaced, as he heard the screams in the background, while picking up trays of food to give to the prisoners, as usual... Soon... he thought, soon we'll be able to take this place down... I won't let their sacrifices be in vain. He walked towards' the prisoners' rooms, acting as nonchalant as possible.

"Mrs. Dash... You're the closest thing I have to a friend... Can you give me some advice please?" Austin asked, almost crying, then he heard the screams, he knew them well "Rainbow... I could really use a friend..."

B. Yes. Do you have a problem with that?

Rainbow looks at Austin, puzzled. "Yes? What's the matter?" She spins her body towards him, and stands patiently.

Belles head snapped up hearing the screams of the dying colt and her ears folded back. She hid her head back under her wings and stayed wrapped tightly in them wishing to be free of this wretched place.

"I feel like we're doing a very bad thing... I feel like I'm a cold-blooded murderer..." Austin said as he hugged Rainbow Dash "Help me..."

After finishing making the fruit salad, I trot over to Belle and place a hoof on her shoulder. It is true that they are safe now, but it was still "The Factory." Still I have plans of my own for "The Factory."

Echo trotted near Austin and Rainbow Dash as he balanced the plates of food on his wings. He gave a quick salute to the two as he walked by.

Austin looked at Echo "Be careful... I told you to use the cart Echo" He said

"H-huh? Oh, right." Echo said, walking over to a nearby cart. "Can you help me get these moved over? I can't quite reach the plates from where they are."

Rainbow salutes to Echo, and begrudgingly glares at Austin. "I'll call in a bot." She runs to the computer and puts in some commands, and soon another Gryphon-bot emerges from the wall and assists Echo with the food. She then calls Austin to her office angrily.

"Thank you, ma'am." Echo said in his most professional tone, relieving the gryphon-bot of its duty when it was finished assisting him. He approached the prisoners' rooms, hoping the food would still be hot enough for them. Okay, try not to worry about Austin... he thought, If he can talk his way out of this, he'll be fine, and if not... she'll call for security, which is me.

Austin walks into the office "I'm sorry Rainbow... Its just everything that's happened lately... Me bringing Evan here, the stressful nature of keeping the Spectra levels up... I'll accept any punishment you give me" He said

Belle flinched when Shade touched her shoulder and she looked at him and then looked away. "Why are taking care of us? Isnt every pony who works in this hellish place following the rainbow demons rules? Why are you helping us? What are you gaining from this? If this is just some sick game then you can just throw me in the grinder i dont want to deal with this anymore...." She said. She was scared. Belle wanted freedom no matter what form it came in but staying in the factory wasnt something she wanted.

Rainbow slammed her hoof on the desk angrily. "Defiance is NEVER tolerated." She yells. "Even if it was just... that. No. It's against the rules." She calms and talks calmly. Slowly, as she paces back and forth, she sighs. "Emotions exist. It's was okay for you to do that." She sits back down, huffing.
"The reason we do this is because it's the only way for Equestria to have color. And we get paid quite a lot." She taps her hooves on the floor quickly and impatiently. "We're at 89% now. 4% more and we can all pay our rent and more. Could you get one of them? Let's see... Ink Belle? I'll send down some bots." She orders quietly.

Limitless sighs, waiting for something to happen.

I shake my head and run my hooves through her mane. My icy blue eyes glisten in the light as I speak. My horn glows as I wrap a blanket around Belle.

"No, not every pony is like her, nor was she always this way. Rainbow used to be different, she used to... Tears fall down my cheeks and one of my tears splash on her face. Anyways I swear to you and anyone else that comes under my protection, you will be free even if I must give my life," I say.

After feeding the accounted-for captives, Echo scanned the room, looking for Belle and Evan. Well, I didn't see them in Solitary, and I only heard one of those gut-wrenching screams... chances are they're with Shade. Man, if he isn't careful, he might be thrown to the grinder himself he reasoned, knowing about the rebellion that Shade was trying to cobble up. He walked up to Shade's room, and gave a distinctive set of knocks on the door, unsure what the runic code to open it actually was.

I hear the knocking and after doing what I can to calm Belle, I walk over to the door. I open a small slit in the door and look out, Seeing Echo, slowly open the door.

"Quickly, come in my friend," I say ushering him in before closing it quickly behind me.

Echo hurried in, looking at the two captives in hiding. "Listen... are you sure you want to do so much this quickly? I mean, I doubt they'd notice that one would go missing, but two?" he said, before turning to Evan and Belle. "Oh, this might be kinda startling, but, well... try to forget any impressions you might have had of me before."

Belle nodded and pulled the blanket around her. She took deep breaths trying to relax and closed her eyes till she heard shade let somepony in. She opened her eyes and looked up seeing echo. Her ears folded back she listened to him speak and nodded. "You n-never had a dark demeanor to you...." She said to echo.

"Don't try anything stupid, Echo. I have changed many things since you were last here. Now as for the two, they won't realize that two are missing when more than a dozen more fill the cells. Even now some of my men are at the gates. As for the plan, soon I will bring this entire place to the ground," I say.

"You don't know how much that means to me, miss." Echo says, flashing a friendly smile, which showed off a few misshapen teeth, a few of which didn't quite look equine. He turned to Shade, and his face became more somber. "Just... promise me that you know what you are doing..." he said, giving Shade a concerned look, and trying to phrase his words carefully. "Listen... I eavesdropped a bit, and Austin sounds like he's having doubts about the job... he's a potential defector, but I'm not sure how reliable. He's one to keep a close eye on, though."

Limitless, after listening on on this conversation, flies back to the grinder to see what had happened. Spectra was being processed quickly and pumped through several tubes in the floor. Fresh blood was on the catwalk, and she landed briefly to examine it. Extremely bright red, and free of flaws. It was a foal. Limitless didn't feel bad for it. After all, it's not as if there was life behind these pony-shaped Spectra containers.

((Er, you might want to specify what conversation she was listening in on, because Shade, Echo, Belle, and Evan are in a sealed room. Was she listening to Dash and Austin?))

"I will Mrs. Dash... I'm sorry for my self-doubts... I'll try harder to do the best job as your right-hoof" Austin said before leaving Rainbow's office, believing he either kept the job, or be next in the grinder "Bots... We need to find Ink Belle..."

Sugar pop had passed out a while back, when she awoke and realized that limitless was no longer guarding solitary confinement. She took the oportunity and picked the lock, unfortunately for her the alarm had sounded shouting. "WARNING!!! SOLITARY CONFINEMENT BREACHED, CODE RED". Sugar bolted, running off in an attempt to outreach the guards.

As the alarm sounded, Echo turned towards the door, not even waiting for an answer. "Well, that's my cue, they'll expect me on duty."

He quickly left, glad that nobody was right outside the door as he did. "Officer Echo, I'm headed toward the breach!" he called out, as he flew towards the solitary confinement room.

Sugar pop was careful to avoid making any unnecessary commotion. She jummped up onto the pipes and hid on top as many of the guards ran under her almost perfect hiding spot. She crept on the pipes slowly until she accidentaly dislodged the pipe and she came crashing down. "Son of a-" she got up and ran in the other direction, taking thr thin pipe with her.

She approached the exit of the corridor but a guard had blocked her way. Without hesitation, she slammed the pipe across his face and bolted past, the steam of all the working and grinding gears made visibility relatively low, even for her.

Belle heard the alarm and she gasped. "Thats sugar pop! She'll be killed!"

Austin sent the bots to help capture the escapee as he walked to Shade's room, it took awhile because of the steam "Shade! Its Belle's time, her trip to eternal peace is now" He said as he knocked on the door

At the sound of the alarm bells, Evan sprung from the short nap on the bed- it was the first time in quite a while he could rest without fear of never awaking again. An immediate feeling of urgency entered his mind after Belle described the pony at large. Now free from his shackles, he felt that nopony else should be objected to this torment again. Such a task of liberating the innocent used as fodder for this horrible machine was once inconceivable, but now under the care of Shade, a new hope had arisen; and what a better time to begin this revolution than now?

Unfortunately, this train of thought was cut short by a knocking on the sealed door, followed by a voice- his voice. As tempted as he was to tell Rainbow's right hoof to go buck himself, he decided that blowing his cover wouldn't be wise. So he kept silent, quietly cursing his ex-friend.

At the gate is a group of six heavily armored ponies, both pegasus, earth pony and unicorn alike, knock on the door of the factory. Behind them two dozen ponies are chained up and collared. Their leader, a chestnut Pegasus with orange mane stands in the front. The groups armor is midnight blue and a silver tree glistens upon them.

Meanwhile in the factory, as a unicorn, carries the unconscious guard's body away, a pegasus mare hides Sugar Pop.
"Quickly, get behind the pipes, and keep quiet," the Pegasus says.

Back within my chambers, I serve some of the fresh fruit salad, to my guest as well as myself. Looking at the two, I specifically turn to Belle. I shake my head and speak.

"I have comrades and friends within the factory and outside. They will do whatever they can to prevent that. I promise, your friend will be alright."

Belles ears fell back as she heard austins voice and she backed up, tears burning her eyes. She was finally gaining hope of living but now austin was here saying that she was to go into the grinder. She swallowed hard and backed up to the bed and then crawled under it. She was shaking violently as silent tears streamed down her face. i-i dont wanna die....

Even through his bitter anger, a sliver of compassion shone through. Evan crouched down and peeked under the bed. "Don't worry, Belle" he said to the frightened mare in a reassuring tone. "I won't let anypony hurt you. I promise."

"Shade! Let me in so I can get Belle! That is an order!" Austin yelled inside the door

Belle flinched at Austins voice again and hid in her wings.

Armed guards step out of the shadows and advance on Austin. There are earth ponies, unicorns and pegasus among them. All are wearing midnight blue armor with a silver tree insignia. Surrounding him on all sides they prevent Austin from escaping. Opening the slit in the door of my chambers, I reply to him.

"No. It is time that you joined us. Take him," I say to the armed guards. The guards attack!

Sugar was hiding again, observing the guards as they searched for her. Her sight was pretty good from her point of elevation, cloaked in the shatows of the machinery. "What do i do now?..." She asked herself, watching carefully.

Austin fought back as hard as he could, he was able to take some down, but he was eventually overtaken by the fighters

The guards take the unconscious Austin through a hidden door into the depths of my hideout. Turning on a light, they gently lay him down on a bed. A black pegasus mare with midnight blue mane and tail, covers him with blankets and lays his head on a pillow. More armored guards watch over him as he sleeps.

Belle stayed hidden under the bed scared to meet a fate in this horrible place.

Austin slowly woke up and looked at the black pegasus "Where am I and who are you?" He asked

Sugar pop manuvered har way through the vents of the facility, coming across a few more guards before she managed to find a room that appeared safe. She kicked the vent door open and landed on the floor, looking at the nice decor. "Wow...makes the rest of this factory look less shady" she said before noticing somepony under the bed. She ducked down. "Hey, i remember you....." She recalled the mare from before, when limitless was on her bloodthirsty rampage.

Belle flinched hearing the vent get kicked open then when she heard sugar pops voice she looked at her and practically launched out from under the bed and hugged her. "I thought they had got you!" She said. She hardly knew the mare only really knowing her name but she was really happy to see her again.

I smile as I see Belle and Sugar Pop hug. It is good to see some ponies smile. Soon this place would be reduced to rubble.

Nightingale smiles at Austin.

"You are safe now, my friend. You are within one of many sanctuaries of the Moon Shadow Order. Our leader, told us that you'd be coming. Soon his plans will be complete and this horrible place will be no more. Do not worry though, all ponies that are on his list will be out and free, before it does. Are you hungry or thirsty, my friend," she asks.

Shortly after this incident, a familiar pattern of knocking sounded from the door, the one that Shade recognized as Echo's.
