For Christ sake dark how is this site so poorly optimized for mobile? If you can't fix it and won't look into a way of fixing it then whatever...

...But at least get rid of the damn pop ups. I can't even begin to tell you how many pop ups I get on this site when browsing. Its ridiculous. This site has some sort of malware on it or something...I literally just flashed my phone with its factory image and its near brand new, so I know it's not my phone. Tons of users complain about this constantly

I'm just curious if this site loads a **** load of poorly programmed code or something because this **** is slow as hell and idefk how this site has malware or w/e

I've never had any problems when using this site with my phone, but I'm not an expert on this stuff so I don't know.

I must agree with this, it's one of the worst websites to use on mobile,

Which is why I'm always on PC,

There are good days where the worst problem is ads making the Firefox mobile keyboard go crazy, and there are really bad days where I can't go a page without it trying to open the App Store on me. Been using it almost exclusively on Ghostery because if Dark just lets whatever ads show up on the forums then he isn't getting any revenue from me.

Agreed. I know it's not a viable solution for everyone and I don't want to confuse the suggestion with a legitimate fix for the very real issues at had, but I highly recommend installing Ghostery. Not just for these issues, but to help minimize the data crumbs you leave on every website you visit.

iPad works the best for me. Computer is alright, though I prefer iPad. Also I rarely used darkSpyro on a mobile.

Just so you know, this site was NEVER programmed for mobile, so the only solution would be to not access the site with your phone.

Its programmed like ****. Dark should look into his AdWords account and look into how many clicks are phone/tablet users. A huge majority of the people who click on his ad on Google are. Firefox on my Nexus 9 has literally crashed 4 times within an hour here just on dS. Optimize the site for mobile. Its a janky piece of ****, dark.

My mobile dS is basically the same as Computer, except it's slightly harder to click things. I have not once experienced any ads, it runs quite well, and it crashes like once or twice a week.

This is on iPhone3, by the way. Not sure if it makes a difference how old the device is.

Considering the number of people who use a mobile device as their primary internet source in today's connected world, that's a terrible solution.

That's also considering how big Curse is today. I'm not interested enough to visit the other forums from them, but considering their habit of grabbing whatever big fandom's forum they can find(and acting like a spoiled kid when they can't), they probably have more than enough resources to help admins make their sites mobile-friendly.

Honestly I detest mobile versions of any site as it feels that I'm missing out on stuff. I have it (and all websites) to display classic on my smart phone.

^ Well that's probably just a result of bad mobile website design (if you're missing out on things, I mean).

I did send a message to Dark offering to make the website work better on mobile for him. I didn't hear back. Interpret that however you want.

There's one main problem on mobile that I've noticed: as soon as you leave the page this is open on, it forgets that you were even on there. I have to log on darkSpyro three or four times a day just to keep posting continuously.

That also happens on my laptop. I often ignore it, it happens very rarely.

That was a mistake. I accidentally put on private browsing.

I've recently been getting "iPhone 7" ads that redirect me to an entirely different page only when I'm on this website on mobile.

I keep receiving those "Unlock this page to continue" advertisements leading to having to download apps. Hopefully this issue can be fixed. It's such a pain, especially when replying to other people, I can't because everytime I'd try it'd just take me to a random page.

The Curse scripts also seem to sometimes feel like screwing you over even outside of mobile. No idea how to confirm it's the same issue on there as it is on PC, but every now and then it just has this dumb lag spike for no good reason and sometimes requests you to stop the script altogether.

At least once every day I get one of those app download pages, and it's gotten extremely annoying.
