Since OP was ripto'd, I've felt the need to start a new topic that can be updated with info.

Amiibo support has been confirmed, and it will be using Fire Emblem amiibo to summon new support characters in game.

Is a demo available for this? Might as well try it before hand so if I end up liking it I can try to pre-order Lucina & Robin then worry about Ike & Marth later.

Demo is available on the eShop, and it's a pretty lengthy demo. It personally made me not want to get it anymore on release, but as a "pick up later game". It seems fun, but just will piss you off. Last I heard about amiibo reprints for this, Toys R Us employee told me that Marth will release with the game, and chances are of a bundle. Not 100% sure about this though.

I wasn't too sure about this game until I played the demo, but when I did, I was amazed! I couldn't put it down, it's very unique! I played it on the old 3DS XL but when I get the 'new' 3DS next week I'm gonna download it again and play in the super stable 3D mode which I'm really looking forward to! However, I'm still a little annoyed that Europe, Austrailia and Japan all have to wait another 2 months after the US for the game. But still, in hyped for it!
