Honestly a completely refurbished PS2 for $20 is better than a PS2 that is unpredictable in conditions.

Doesn't really affect me as I'm never selling my PS2. My dad hates video-games and being allowed to have one and given it as a birthday present makes it sort of a prized possession. Even if it breaks, I'll probably still keep it. Although, if I end up finding FF7 Dirge of Cerberus in a store I might pick it up. Not a game I need, but finding it in store I might splurge on it.

EB games Australia never stopped taking them however they don't sell them any more. I have no idea what they do with them though.

Gamestop may just be taking them and not planing on selling them in stores.

I'm not selling my PS2, it was my second console I got, but I still like it a lot, and though I haven't used it in like year, I have a ton of games for it~

Never giving mine up, besides the PS1 the PS2 was my first actual system. And without it I can't play my most treasured game series

Dude, all we said was that we were confused why you think Ty is the best series on the planet. It may be the first game you played, but it shouldn't hold the title as the best. The first game I played was SMB3 on NES and my favorite game of all time is Demon's Souls. Chill the hell out.

A Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle game is kinda like that for me. Have a copy and would never sell it. I still have the decency to accept the game is kinda... bland... Rather short as well and incredibly linear with a lack of interesting plot.

Never played the game and not saying Ty is bad as I have no reason to claim such, of course this means I'm not saying it's good either. I'm merely stating, it's fine to have the nostalgia and hold fondness for the game, you can love your copies all you want. Though it's good to accept a game is bad when it is.

I consider them the absolute best, yes the PS2 is outdated at this point but should that matter? If a game is fun then the game is fun and everyone can like what they want. I don't like Demon's Souls but I am not hating on you for liking it.

There is no way that the Ty games are the absolute best. Console doesn't matter.

Everyone has their favorites that they consider the best. Let them say it. It doesn't affect anyone in any form or way. Or shouldn't anyways.
