Are you having a panic attack right now?

Try to stay calm, okay? Take deep breaths, count the seconds that you draw in and let out breath in your head. Listen to some calming music - maybe your favorite song? It doesn't have to be necessarily calm or soothing, just music that makes you feel comfortable and safe. Maybe play a simple game - Rinmaru has nice dress up games and Neopets has lots of fun simple flash games?

If you need to cry or throw up, don't hold back. Both of those are natural responses in panic attacks and it's okay to do either, and it's better than trying to keep yourself from reacting. Try to focus on other things though, stay distracted as best you can.

I don't know the context so I can't really supply any sort of comfort, but try to stay safe and take care of yourself.

Look man, if you do fail this test (which is stil only a possibility), then that oesn't guarentee your job, and you have to look on the bright side, you are still able to get onto your own two feet and do something, your life isn't over because of a test, it will be over if you decide to give up on it, you can still turn whatever is happening back around, and I'm not trying to reprimand you, sorry if this comes across like that, I'm trying to help. When you're faceing depression, you have to find a way to make yourself feel like you have a purpose, some people turn to religion and pray a lot, some people turn to friends and others strive to do something to make themselves feel proud of themselves, but before anyone does any of that, they have to look at themselves and ask why they're really feeling this way, and the answer may indeed be because you're worried over a test or your job, but whatever it is, they have to look at it, and hold it up to the sun and try to examine it, and it will most likely fade away.

As someone w/ pretty frequent panic attacks (luv being mentally ill... /sarcasm) I think you should just try to take care of yourself right now honestly. I promise you're not a failure, even if something goes wrong now, it's not the end of the world. You'll always have another chance.

I hate to give the "things will get better" speech because I know it's overused and empty, but you really will feel better soon, I promise. Panic attacks suck but the emotions you feel during them are always magnified and over the top. Once you've calmed down a bit - like I said, try to listen to some music maybe? Don't try to focus on the thing bothering you - you should feel a little better about the situation.

I know I shouldn't come here to vent, but I don't really have anywhere else to do so. I've been trying to do it less and less, so I just repress as much frustration I can. And sometimes there's a tipping point. No, I'm not mad. And I wouldn't ever hurt myself or anyone else.

It just happens to make me incredibly depressed. I'm really trying to find the bright outlook of things but its incredibly hard right now when I can't even attend school due to financial reasons and my home life isn't the greatest. Me and my brother and friend of his just got accepted for an apartment, but his friend bailed out so we could not move out. That really bummed me out, because I think a huge source of my frustrations and problems would just disappear I'd I could move out.

I know it sounds like I'm acting like a child, but I really need out of this personal hell you call a house. Its abusive, and everyone treats me like ****. Unfortunately, I just don't have anywhere to go and no one to talk to. I want to continues school but I just want to be done, and I can't even go now. A majority of my "friends" aren't even my friends besides two really cool people and I refer to one of them as a bigger brother now, **** I respect the dude.

I'm sorry. I shouldn't vent. I hate my life. I just wish I were in my thirties and successful.

Sleep is some kinda release you have your own world and you don't wanna come back to reality.

If you were where I was living I would drag you to my college/school and we could be the cool kids on campus.
