With all the alter-egos etc back, I have just popped 350 stones in the well, results were:
Grill Master Chop Chop
Knockout Jaw Breaker
Swarms House
1 B&B
3 Cocoa Stands
4 100,000 gold
Rest was usual items

Reasonably happy but would have liked another alter ego or two.

Final count after using stones gained over the weekend:

2 more 100,000 gold
Blossom Tree

Overall pretty happy, considering what some others got.

We have 2100 stones. But as it isn't friday, yet, we may have 40 or so more By tomorrow . And probably 40-50 more per day with wish stones from shrines, sanctums and houses.

With only 2 missing acts, we will cross our fingers, and def get every elemental totem we see this weekend

You still have all weekend to earn stones from sanctums and shrines. Don't give up, yet!

Although snagging a Giants/alt house from the well is pretty significant winning!

I was happy with the house and the two alts and yes, hopefully another 50-10 stones over the next couple of days to throw in there.

Stopped 50 stones before getting to the safety zone for the next month's alter ego,will try again with those and maybe a few more tomorrow.

Last time they ran it I only had 250 stones built up and didn't get anything.

I only am missing two alts...thought I'd have better luck.

Is Merry Snap Shot's house in the well? I don't see anything special in my well, but I have all the alts and all houses but Merry's, so I can't tell if I'm missing an update, or simply have nothing to add.

What is disappointing is that I am missing 4 Alter egos (Buddy WB, Skeletal Cynder, Snowler Brawl, and Lucky Boomer) so I was hoping a grand would have fetched me one!

I put in 5 stones(too lazy to do any more) and I got a Chompy Gift Shop. Second time I won it in a month.

Thats a good score for spending 5 stones

850 stones and all I got was 5 stupid blossom trees and 2M (100k x20)

On my kids game 106 stones netted surfer slam bam and a few 60k gold prizes.

I put about 350 stones in and scored Buddy Wrecking Ball and Grill Master Chop Chop. Still need 5 more so will try again before it closes. 500 stones to go...

How many Alts are you missing ? I can imagine if you only have one or two left it will take forever.

I threw about 3500 wish stones in during the previous wishing weekend, I was missing two alter egos - only managed to get one of them out of 3500 stones. Certainly gets a lot harder as your pool shrinks!

Luckily January's regular alter-ego gave me the last one I needed so I didn't need to participate this time around. Not sure what I'm going to do with all these wish stones that are now piling up!

2500 stones or so--2 alts left--and NO wins

I needed 5 Alts at the beginning of the weekend. I tossed about 3,000 stones and was able to get 3 of them. So just two more to go though I am hoping they pop up another way than wishing well weekends because with only two in there they will be hard to get.

I better save more stones for next time . When i am super bored i kinda like to toss em in .

There was nothing in the well, i was interested in, so I just saved my time :-)

They need a option/companion that ask you how many stones to put in.
Then the return the results of the grouping.
That could be another companion for high level players.

Started the weekend optimistic. 2952 stones in hand as of Friday morning. Ten alter egos in the well. Spanned out the spending of all of them throughout the whole weekend.

First alter ego came within 150 stones, Snowler Brawl. Then they started popping slow and steady, flip flop fryno, skeletal cynder, buttered pop thorn and sundae slobber tooth all showed up within 700 stones. Then the drought started. Took another 1000 stones before autumn stump smash popped up was still grumbling about the stones per alter ego rate when mystic star strike and fireworks zook popped within 20 stones of each other with more than 600 remaining.

Spent the last stones I had trying to get lucky boomer and builda grilla drilla, but wasn't successful. Bought two huts with gems on hand, broke down and snagged a small gem pack for the kids to grab another 4 huts. The 25 stones that came with the pack won me another bed n breakfast.

Final take, approximately.
10 or so bed n breakfast.
4 fisheries.
12-15 taverns.
10 cocoa stands.
2 shrines.
6 blossom trees.
At least 40 or 50 100k gold jackpots.
Probably 3100 stones total.

So now I have enough Mabu to not need housing aside from bed n breakfast and a few wood stack houses. Got rid of some older buildings and almost all small housing. Of course I immediately got quests that required snack bars or the library so some had to be rebuilt.

Reshuffling the islands is an ongoing thing but it's coming along.

I tried at least 200 stones if not 250 and all I got was the snow globe house of note. Won the 35,000 gold thing a few times but I do not want gold, I want giant houses or limited alter agos. Grr.

That's how you start, really, if get them while they're available! past AEs will be along eventually. Wishing well weekends with past Alter Egos come around maybe every 6-7 weeks. (someone can correct me if I am wrong, but it seems that way to me) and they time it with holiday weekends (and American Holidays--they've had memorial day, 4th of July and thanksgiving)

Since you just started, it may seem like everyone is ahead of you, but seriously, you'll get many of these things in time. Patience, Grasshopper.

On average, it is "easier" to win them the more you are missing. I know we got 3 or 4 on our first wishing well weekend. And had all of them but the last 2 within 6 months

That is nice to hear, it will probably less daunting when I finally win one or two. At the moment, am saving my wishing well stones for the next time a big stash is ready or the next alter ego is available.

Missing 20 alter egos and 8 giant houses and 4 mini houses feels daunting, will see how that number goes down in time.
