I'm somewhat fond of Luigi's having a sort of Luigi's Mansion vibe to it. So far Luigi & Rosalina are the only ones I'm interested in as far as board design goes.

I tried searching for King Dedede at my Toys R Us this morning, but instead of getting wave 3 in this week, all they got were several boxes full of mario. Actually, they got 2 mega man figures according to the guy at the counter, but they sold out this morning before I got there. I was pretty frustrated but hey, at least I was able to find Majora's Mask 3D!

My toon link is lvl 50. I. Am. Screwed.

To get my Mega Man I had to wait outside TRU an hour before opening (nobody showed up until 30 minutes before opening) in the blistering cold. Mega Man was the only new amiibo they got today, and only 4 were on display. He seemed to have more behind the counter but I don't imagine it was any more than 10. People on line that couldn't get him were allowed to reserve him (and I suppose the others) for their next shipment.

Every Best Buy I've called so far didn't have Sonic, and one of them even said "they sold out" implying he was there. So it's a long shot but it might be worth a try for you to call your local Best Buy and see if maybe they still have him.

Ugh, I was only able to snag Mega Man.

They had ONE Dedede, and NO. IKE. AT. ALL.

Dedede is the hardest to find. You probably won't find him unless you import him from Japan/wait until Amazon has him/he's restocked.

Going only by what my TRU got in, Ike was short-shipped and the other three were pretty equal quantities.

My tru which is fairly big only got 2 KDDD 2 sonics 6 MM and 0 Ike...

good thing i pre-ordered ike.

Personally, I like the guy, but I doubt he'll ever get an Amiibo.

Not really that surprising. Charizard has been popular for the last 15 years or so and was even in Brawl (albeit as one of the Pokemon Trainer's pokemon). Despite how popular Greninja is, Charizard is and will always be a fan-favorite and is probably the most popular among the Gen 1 starters. Somewhat why I find him overrated, but that's beside the point.

Greninja's popularity is what gets me caught up in exactly how rare or common he could be. On one hand people who aren't into Pokemon won't recognize him, but on the other his game is recent and he's popular in it. I thought he would've been rare, but at this point I don't know. I just want him since he's my second main.

Could you tell me why Greninja is so good? Because I cannot get the hang of him. When I try to recover, sometimes his Up-B turns into his Side-B (I don't have this problem with any other characters), He has no meteor smashes, his dair sucks, and he doesn't really seem like he's that strong.

Pit is the Amiibo I want the most and I've been looking for him for the longest time now with no luck, I'm wondering if I should just cut my losses and start collecting the easier to find figures instead of saving my money for the one I want the most. I honestly don't know what to do, thoughts?

If you haven't already, I'd look into getting him online. Amazon (.de .fr .ca), AmiAmi, PlayAsia, and overall keeping an eye on his page over at MyFigureCollection as the comments there can sometimes help. MFC was where I found out about the second shipment of Shulk.

I'm not quite sure what to suggest when it comes to getting him, since he's been classified as "unicorn" on the subreddit now (same level as Little Mac and the three rares of wave 1), but one thing I can say for certain is to not pay scalper prices online. All it does is encourage scalpers and burn your money.

Look on the sites Seiki advised, and maybe Gohastings (they supposedly update stock at 3:30 AM and sometimes rares show up). Otherwise I would just suggest focusing on easier to find characters and wave 3, and hope that we see more Pit in the future. There's an ongoing strike on the west coast involving a shipment company, and people are suspecting (or rather hoping) that maybe rares from waves 1 and 2 are stuck there, along with GC adapters.

I've been getting other amiibo that I want, rather than pay a ridiculous price for Pit.

I'm getting pretty anxious about it, though, as Pit is one of my 'Holy Trinity' of Nintendo characters (my Top 3 favorites are Samus, Yoshi, and, of course, Pit), so not having him really bugs me.

I've been stalking Amazon, though.

EDIT: But really, at this point, it does seem like the best option is to get the others you want before they get rare, and pray, pray, that Pit is re-issued or something.

^If you're trying to get NA specific amiibo, some people will not want Japanese Rosalina; they will want NA Rosalina. If you're sensible and don't care about where the toy comes from, then you'll probably be able to get a Japanese MK or Lucario.

I don't get the point of specifically wanting certain regions of boxed amiibo (especially NA considering how hard to get those are), but then again I'm apparently a fool who wastes value because I open my $13 plastic toys and use as intended.

Just freed up my Friday morning as META KNIGHT just popped up on BB Again. I managed to snag 3 shipped to my home with Free expedited shipping. Confirmation email said it will be in my hands on Monday. Also got a SHIEK off of Walmart's site with free ship to store as that went back up again....

I'm just gonna wait until wave 4 pre-orders come to the US, and import a super mario mario...

Some people can prefer the Super Mario poses over the Smash ones for their own various reasons. May seem odd to us, but it is personal preference. I want Luigi, but do not like the planking pose the Smash one has, which is why I was happy to see the Super Mario Luigi announced and will get him when he comes out.
