It's a really great series, one of my favourites. The fact that it focuses a lot on character interaction makes all the characters very lovable, so it's still interesting no matter what POV it's on, which is rare in most anime IMO.

Also if you like it, you're very lucky to be starting it now because of the second season currently airing.

Hanji is awesome. I've also cosplayed as her before which was a lot of fun (the belts were a pain to put on though).

I love Kuroko no Basket too! :D I got into it around about December last year, and I'm all up to date with the anime (haven't read the manga yet, but I probably will once season 3 is finished). I really do like the characters (mostly Kuroko, Kagami and Aomine) and how they interact with one another, plus the basketball games are really entertaining to watch and get me pumped up for some reason, which I find rather funny because I was never interested in basketball before I started to watch KnB. xD

And Iceclaw plz watch KnB. You won't regret it. It's actually a sports anime that's addictive and somehow still feels like you're watching a shonen. And it has a few really good character (the GoM mainly), and Kuroko is great character who is very different to your typical shonen protagonist (although Kagami is a typical shonen character lol).

Yesss another fan. I got into it in 2012, and I've read (and now finished) the manga because back then I couldn't wait for Season 2 to come out. Akashi's my favourite. I would say why but.... since anime watchers wouldn't know much about Akashi yet, I don't think I should say why lol. I also love Aomine and Kuroko. Lol same, I'm not a sports person and actually suck at pretty much all sports except for hockey. I would so try Basketball again now just because of this anime lol.

And I have no idea why KnB hasn't been licensed yet. It's a very popular anime and has ranked very high in Japan recently (and the Manga has increased drastically in sales because of the anime). I honestly find it very surprising. :\

edit: finished drrr and i'd be so distressed if i watched this a few years ago with no continuation. whenever i finish a show it leaves me really bummed but hallelujah there's a season 2 going at this point

^ yeah you're actually very lucky that you got into drrr at the time season 2 started (it has 6 episodes so far. It's going to be into three cours, 12-13 episodes in each cour and will cover the remaining 10 volumes). I got into it in 2013 and was so sad and convinced it wouldn't get another season and hence I read the light novels. Another season was announced in 2014 when I just finished reading them. Now I wish I didn't do that, because certain events won't be shocking to me, and I know how it ends. >_<

i do feel bad for those people who got into it in 2010 though. 5 years of waiting must have been very painful.

and i'm also happy you liked it BTW. the first season actually barley covers the series, and i promise you season 2 (mainly the 2nd & 3rd cours) will be even better. :D

i watched an anime on yuri bears. It's weird and strange and I can't tell if I like it or not. There's no doubt the first 2 episodes were trash though.
