They didn't say very much about it at all. Here are the relevant quotes from the earnings call:

That's where my ears piqued up.

Hard to gauge "sincerity" in a discussion on innovation for a shareholder meeting though.

Why did anyone not think there was a Skylanders 5? It doesn't really make sense. I thought we already knew that VV was working on it, and the franchise is still raking in tons and tons of money. I just don't get all the talk on these forums about it not going to happen.

I don't think most folks thought that Sky5 wasn't going to happen, but it's always nice to see it in writing.

It's like, you know tomorrow is going to happen, but it's always nice to wake up the next day. :D

I was a bit disappointed not to see any previous year comparisons on the sales of the franchise. It would speak to the relative strengths/weakness. All we know is 3 billion revenue and 240 million toys.

Yeah, this happens with every big game for some reason. World of Warcraft comes to mind. People have been saying that it's dying for 9 years now, yet it's still doing fine. When a game gets really big, it's easy to find tons of people who don't like it. The thing is, for every person who's completely sick of Skylanders, there are probably 2 people who are still enjoying it. So you figure a million people hate the game, and 2 million people are still digging it. It's easy to focus on the 1 million and think that the series is going to die.

I have a feeling Kaos will once again for the game's main villain. I know there are rumors made by fans of the possibility of Malefor returning all because he's going to appear in the comics soon.
