The simulator is useful for some hard to get things, such as gen 4/5 tutor moves or things like competitive Vespiquen. All other uses though, game can provide better.

Honestly I'd rather play a simulator than take craptons of time raising the pokemon in my game. So far in my game the only perfect iv bred pokemon I have are charizard y, SB blaziken, noivern, scizor, and SB scolipede.

Eh, the only ones I've ever cared about are a select few (Latias, Rayquaza, Flygon, and Lapras), which are the ones I spent weeks on and failed with. Then I hear all these Wonder Trade stories and it miffs me a little. Especially since if I hadn't lost Pokémon Diamond, I could get the Shiny Charm. <.>;
