hatched some pretty coatls and i'm glad that the one facet child is female and crimson because that combo looks perfect on coatls

also happy that all three (one was exalted because it was p ugly) had white bellies

I do not know. I tried asking the same about nagas. Then my friends did make point that they do have the lower half of an animal that lays eggs. So maybe eggs considering mermaids probably the reproductive organs of a fish.

I'm gonna assume they lay eggs, then. it's pretty creepy to imagine little half-humans hatching out from an egg, though.

Not entirely sure on FR's Maren, but IIRC mot mer-folk I've seen have bellybuttons. So I'd say go for it and have one in the drawing.

and i dont like the bear. at all. ok, it looks kinda cute and normal, but... that's the point. it's a normal bear with a necklace and wrist band. why not add some icicles on it, frosted parts or give it an armour made of ice or something. every other bear is looking crazy but this one is just... eh?

i dunno. it's a shame. :|

I don't know what art program you use, but there's usually a stabilizer/smoother function for tablets. There's one in Paint Tool SAI right here.

I feel like it'd resemble the Hoarfrost Mauler if they added more icicles to it... anyways, I actually like it because of it's simplicity. To me, the other ones looked, well, dumb. don't even get me started on the Earth one.

Not to mention that I love its pose and aloof expression.

@S-F: I just did some research and apparently Photoshop doesn't have a line stabilizer. Um, well, there is an application for it, but you have to pay like $35 for it.

Because thinks I'm a curse.

Also Spyro-Fan, if you are looking for line stabilizer I'd recommend adobe Flash (since I have no pen pressure on SAI I use flash for smooth lines) and Paint Tool SAI if you have a tablet for said pen pressure. Though legally those programs cost money too.
