Is Torch any good?

I got her for my friends b-day because there was nothing else in stores that he didn't have. Do you think he'll like it?

Personally I chose Forged in Flames, but I can see someone going the other way. Has a good actress voicing her and some decent moves. Not part of my elite army force but would definitely call her in for a rescue if needed.

Shes pretty simple to use, deals good damage, all around decent character. I went with forged flames

Even though she is really great as battling Villains with her flamethrower attack, she isn't one of my favorite Skylanders.

Torch was one of the first I got to level 20...very happy with her performance.

Have her, but haven't actually tried her out yet. One of the more boring character designs, at least from a sculpt perspective, IMO. Looks like a prototype of "angry" Hades from Disney's Hercules.

Well, I tried her last night, got all her upgrades, and tried her out. She does amazing damage. But the reason I hadn't tried her yet, was that her design looks lame. The only reason I got here was that I got the Gill grunt Blades and Torch 3 pack.

I did not like her initially as well. Some of these have had to "grow" on me. I use her horse shoe for range damage and then amp up the fire thrower to finish them off, and use her hair for crowd damage.

The most damaging form of flamer is a bit tricky to get started, but yeah, she's still pretty good. Nice to play overall and the figure looks great.
