Maybe one or two new features, but I doubt that they will be as substantial as New Leaf having Tortimer retiring and making you the mayor.

New leaf was my first animal crossing games and i loved it... though i dont really wanna go back and pick weeds for 10 hours. so i hope a new game will come out soon.
