Her: (her response to talking to a gay person) "Hey, just to know ya I love you as a person and I am obligated to let you know that God wants you to receive things way better than this awful sin you like"

Hey I'm a Catholic and there is a line and she's crossed it.

I am totally cool with people no matter if they a gay or whatever I just try to be there for people.

I've had christen and catholic girl tell me I'm not a real catholic because I don't dress like one or act like on. *Playing Assassin's Creed killing Templar and other video games*

I just told them to get ****ed!

And they get so shocked walk away.

I think her intended message there was that she cares about the person she's talking to and doesn't identify them by their sexuality, but on the other hand doesn't like their sexuality.

I think that's way better than saying "god hates ****", though it's still somewhat inconsiderate, seeing how one can't really change his/her sexuality at will.

Well it seems America will soon have a legal precedent on this topic one way or another. And if it rules in favor of gay marriage, separation of church and state dictates that even if you don't like the concept, you'll have to accept it as part of the nation's laws. <.<;

It's mentioned elsewhere as well, in the NT, but I don't have the exact verse. Basically it's kinda in the same category as having premarital, if I recall.

It's also one of the only references the Bible has to homosexuality.

Correct me if i'm wrong, but i'm pretty sure there aren't more than a grand total of 20 verses in the whole Bible that even relate to homosexuality.

Just out of curiosity why do you make topics about gay marriage when you know it can start something fast. I mean the last topics you made weren't so pretty. All for doing what you want, but I just find it odd that you continue to make these topics when you know that you have received negative responses from it on more than one occasion.
