After 6 months, the OP is finally complete. The full lists of fighters, Assist Trophies, and Stages, the complete OST's for both games, the opening cinematic, every Newcomer trailer, both Smash Directs, and GameXplain videos of all of the Assists and Alternate Costumes can all be found in the OP.

I hear Mewtwo will become DLC, but he's only going to be free for those who register their 3DS AND WiiU, and I don't have a WiiU, so I'm starting to wonder if there's a price confirmed for those who only have one version of the game.

We all know that Mewtwo is DLC. It'd be stupid for Nintendo to not offer the DLC outside of the Club Nintendo promo, but what I'm theorizing is that the Club Nintendo promo is for early access to the DLC for free, with the paid version coming after. Also, you only need to register the 3DS and Wii U VERSIONS of the game, not the systems.

Mewtwo is confirmed to be paid DLC for those who don't register both versions. It'll probably happen a short time after he's released for the others.

I don't get to go online very often, but recently I've been practicing on Lv9 opponents on Omega stages with no items trying to get good with my favorite characters, but I'm having a hard time grasping the essentials. I CAN beat Lv9 opponents, but I'm pretty sure really good players can beat them effortlessly, and the AI is usually tough enough it gives me problems.

CPUs are VERY different from actual players. This game is very defense based so you have to block and dodge a lot and look for openings in the opposing players strategy. Another thing is to grab, it overrides the shield and allows you to attack them. When you grab you might want to throw them away from the stage and keep hitting them in the air or just keep them off the stage until you actually get them off screen. Of course, depending on your main you'll need to develop strategies using their moves (Maybe with Mario use fire balls to stop side moves from getting to you or even FLUDD). Also don't just dodge roll around the stage, it makes you open to attacks if the player can find an opening, also refrain from using Smash Attack too much. You should also learn your main's moveset so you can try creating some type of combo. Though these are just some tips from me, and I main Peach, Ganondorf ad Palutena plus Im pretty bad at Smash as it is since I cant follow my own advice( i use smash attacks way too much ). But yeah I tried givin some advice! Hope this helps.

^I wouldn't call Smash 4 that defense based. Brawl was defense based since the game moved at an overall slower pace and would become a waiting game to see when your opponent slips up. I think this game is a bit more offensive in that players also need to move quickly and exploit as many weaknesses as possible, as well as baiting opponents into letting down that defense.

Smash 4 isn't inherently offensive or defensive. It depends on the character/player/match-up.

I don't think I've seen a defensive Little Mac player, for example.

I still don't get the logic of a Pokemon using a Pokeball, like a greninja sending out an eevee just doesn't make sense
