Just left walmart at Clareview they had all of the new Trap Masters as well as 4 Kaos Traps! No Dar or light.

Toys R Us just got a shipment in at around 4pm in Terra Losa I'm not sure about others but they had all the Wave 3 traps but in small number, the 3 trap masters and a re-stock of Wave 2 cores like Fist Bump and Tread Head. They also had only about 8 Kaos Traps. They got the new minis but only 4 of each. Gill Runt/Thumpling and Small Fry/Weeruptor and I believe they are open until 6pm if anyone wants to get some last minute Christmas shopping in.

Light and Dark packs are here.. got them in the Oakridge EB Games Store in Vancouver, there was just two light and one dark.. one person after me took the last light pack. . I guess there's gotta be more packs in other EB Games across the country, never thought we would get them that fast.. at least not before Christmas, I'm sure there is gotta be more outthere . hope it helps

What a bunch of jerkoffs.

I got told by my local EB and TRU that they likely got them in some boxes in the back a week before Christmas but they're not bringing any new stock out until at least the 27th, after the chaos of the last few xmas shopping days and the boxing day.

I used to work at a library and if I told my boss I didn't open new boxes because of the busy xmas time, I'd have gotten my head chopped clean off.

Picked up the light and dark expansion packs in eb games Edmonton didn't know they got new eons elite in

Saw the new Elites at an EB in downtown Montreal. Still no trace of the new expansions or Tuff Luck anywhere here. All I've seen are deserted shelves with wave 1 leftovers and a couple of wave 2 things.

Seems to confirm the theory (at least for around here) that we won't see any new stock until at least next week, when the "holiday rush" is over and they finally start unpacking new stuff, which still makes absolutely no sense to me. You'd think they'd get the new stuff out, since that's what people want to buy, not the leftovers of 3 months ago...

Looks like futureshop.ca is getting blastermind and tuff luck. Guess in a few days it will be available.

Wallap seems to be in stock now in stores. Checked inventory in Vancouver and Richmond and says in stock.
Maybe I'll visit the store later this AM and see if they have them in stock.

I happened to swing by the EB Games in the underground mall, Downtown Montreal; this past saturday, 28th December. To my pleasant surprise, I noticed they had fully restocked their wave 3; this included Tuff Luck, Blastermind, the new light and dark expansions as well as a bunch of core figures.

I saw the line was to the door and figured I wouldn't have enough time to pick up all these pieces during my lunch break; so I decided to go back early monday morning. To my regret; IT WAS ALL GONE!

(i'm especially annoyed beccause I can't even complete the game to my satisfaction without a life and magic trap master; yeah.. i know.. I'm a completionist as I bet most of you are!!)

So I spent the next few days literally calling every EB Games, Target, Best Buy, Futureshop, Walmart, TrU; even visiting 3-4 locations per day hoping to find something.. I mean how could they ALL be sold out EVERYWHERE, right???

Yesterday I lucked out and the EB Games in Radisson Mall had light and dark expansion packs... picked them up of course but still dissatisfied that I don't have all my trap masters!

Oh and the walmart in front of Place Vertu had three chaos traps left when I picked mine up on Friday. Hopefully this helps some of you Montreal fans!

Yup, same story here. A friend of mine who's in Quebec City said his EB had a single box with 3 of each light and dark expansions they got on Jan 2nd and guess what? 30 minutes later, they were all gone. It's pure insanity. I hope to hell this doesn't do another Darklight Crypt where it got a stupidly limited distribution and if you're not lucky, you'll never find them, ever.

Well except on Kijiji or Ebay for stupid prices, of course...

so I called the EB games downtown today, and I called the Toys R Us in Laval, and the EB games in Laval. They all received a VERY small wave 3 shipment; one guy on the phone told me that aside from all the traps they received, they had a total of 3 trap masters (only) and all three locations sold them all out before 2pm!

....... ARGH

I was working at Target in West Ed today and they had the light and dark packs in receiving so they should be getting those out at the stores pretty soon!

Toys R Us (Terra Losa) got a HUGE shipment of Skylanders in this evening, I meant to post a bit earlier but anyways there was at least 30 Light/Dark Adventure packs on the shelf and they weren't flying off the shelf. I wouldn't be surprised if a few remain all the way until tomorrow afternoon.

That's great news! Hopefully that means I can score them soon (and maybe with Tuff Luck if I'm truly lucky...)

But for now, I'm not going anywhere. It's 7am and I just woke up with -42C (that's -45F if any American is reading ) so there's no way I'm going anywhere, lol.

Still haven't seen a single blastermind or tough luck in any store here, I found a ka-boom at costco but it's driving me nuts that I still can't complete the game. anyone in BC see blastermind yet?

EBgames on 184th and Stony Plain got in 10 Rebel Lob Goblin traps today at around 4pm. I snagged one up so only 9 left. Drive carefully!

I still haven't heard or seen any information about the 3 Legendary Traps for us Canadian's yet. What is the hold up?

Just got back from Walmart in Calgary (McLeod trail and southland drive)

They are well stocked on light and dark packs (about 5-6 of each left) and he restocked most of the wave 1 trapmasters

They also had a few hatder to find cores like fist bump, full blast jet vac and a few others

I keep hearing that a 2nd 8-Trap Pack is going to be released in Canada. Does anyone know if this is true? If so, what Traps are included?

This sounds like a rumor as I haven't even heard of such a thing. If I do I'll be sure to announce it on here.

As far as waves and released content goes. We have had everything Wave 1-Wave 3 now except the following:

The 2 new 3-packs with High Five, Bat Spin and Trail Blazer and the 3 Legendary Traps.

Found Rebel Lob Goblin Traps at Calgary EB Games a few hours ago. Also saw Light and Dark Adventure packs at Target in Chinook Mall.

You're lucky, Wickt. In the States, it's becoming somewhat hard to find Wave 3. TRU has not got the traps yet, no new stock & no word on Bat Spin or High Five.

Not sure where you are in BC but there had multiple sets of each at Target in Vernon still yesterday.
I have seen them at walmart too and I got ours on boxing day at EB Games

I did however score Doom Stone and Magna Charge, which surprised the hell out of me, considering I've never seen either of them and now I have them, mwahahaha.

I was able to pickup a light expansion pack at TRU on Broadway in Vancouver. No Dark Expansion, They had about 3 sets of the light one. Probably re-check in a few days.

I just learned Target is closing its 133 stores within 16 weeks here in Canada. I guess that's why we haven't seen any new stuff from them over here. We're always last over here and now that it's closing, I guess we'll have to rely on EB, Walmart or Microplay.

Ah, thanks for clarifying that. I thought I heard they were closing within 16 weeks, not giving that as severance pay. Although, 16 weeks is four months, so that's about right, lol.

But yeah... no surprises, considering the Targets I went to were always empty and didn't have much anything different from Zellers anyway. Except some of that Archer Farms stuff. Some of that's good. But yeah, I won't lose sleep over it. Frigging blows for those 17000 people though. 3000 here in Quebec alone.

Guess I'll have to rely on EB and TRU to get my Skylanders and Infinity stuff... Walmarts around here are completely dried out ever since Boxing Day. I mean seriously, I went to one and all they had was 2 Jawbreakers and 1 Gusto. Crazy.

Hi everyone, I have been following your thread for a bit now. I don't play but I have become very good at tracking down Skylanders. My husband has all 4 games and we have collected all of the characters. We don't do variants unless I track down a variant before I find the normal version.... like Jolly Bumbleblast or Winterfest(?) Lobstar.

There are a couple of places that also carry Skylanders. Costco has masters and The Source also carries Skylanders. Shopping online will get you a random character, but you can check to see if they have availability at your local store.

I am in Grande Prairie, Alberta and the only two guys I haven't found yet are Cobra Cadabra and Trailblazer. Any luck finding those guys in your area?

I guess it takes someone of the opposite gender to be more organized and find all those reclusive ones, eh?

All kidding aside, I'm here in Quebec and I've seen Cobra Cadabra at a few places (mostly TRU) and was lucky to score one. Trailblazer is honestly pretty common around here at the moment, I think pretty much every place I make rounds at still have at least one or two. Cobra Cadabra is cool looking but I don't especially like his gameplay. Trailblazer however, is just overkill: cool looking and very powerful, probably more so than a few masters, I'd say.

On my end, it's still the light and dark packs that just can't be found around here, like, at all. The general consensus is "we got them on the 26th of Dec. and only 3 of each and they were gone within the hour". Since then, not a single trace of a new batch. Just seems like as usual, we're the sore losers over here.

Oh well, in the meantime until I find my light/dark packs, I've been getting into Disney Infinity 2.0 and I'm having an unexpected amount of fun with it, so I can bide my time.

EDIT: Oh also, unfortunately here it seems The Source are a source of gadgets more than anything else. They have very little video game related things, let alone skylanders or other toys outside of RC cars during the holidays, lol. We're going to have a Costco open nearby in the upcoming few months, so I'll keep an eye out for that, though!
