Time to let the majority of those go to waste because the TT has yet to be released in my country. Couldn't even get any of the expansions abroad yet since they're far too expensive on Ebay.

I was excited to see the new update. I was able to spin for both trapmasters and am getting them on level as I type. But the quest to toylink Knight Mare and Knight Light? I don't know if that will get done in time--but we certainly don't have the gems to get either of the gateways (1,500 for each!) for that timed quest.

Android version still doesn't have them

My daughter got the update but my two games have not

Not a lot of people have 3000 gems sitting around. Of course I could be wrong

it's a timed quest, too. 6 days to do it, and the reward is a Shrine

So, not really rushing to do it. Although there may be some people who not only have the gems, they're liable to buy Shrines first so the reward(s) get them over the 3 shrine limit.

Shrines for toylinking the light/dark Trap Masters as well

how do you 'visit' a house? collect?

There has become a tremendous separation between the haves and have-nots in this game. Those whom have played a long time (14-18months) have a ridiculous amount of loot. "3,000", I would not have batted an eye if I had to drop 10 times that amount. I bought 15 windmills just to see if there was a cap. The a month (2?) later, I bought 15 Aquariums for the same reason. I say this, not too brag but to show that once you hit the uppee levels, its easy to get gems. A lot of people get burned out at the top but if you manage to keep grinding, gems are easy.

Its why some have asked for super items: ones that cost 50M gold or 25M energy. Personally, I am not advocate. The balance in the game is up probably better than than ever. Some of us have achieved crazy levels but boredom is the best cure

Don't have the update here on Android either. I even force closed the app twice to force the game to update, nothing.

Update just showed up a few hours ago on android. too bad i can't link Nightmare as its hard to find in stores.

Some Mini related offers have been added:

- Mini Houses are back - Small Fry, Whisper Elf and Trigger Snappy's Houses available until Jan 16th

- Chompy Invasion - apparently until January 18th there is a Chompy invasion, presumably we can expect higher spawn rates on Chompy pods

Rapidly losing our affection to this franchise because of the blatant cash grab. Weren't we spending enough? More than $110 bucks to get the two new light & dark figs? Outrageous.

I wish these time missions would be able to be played again if they were missed or not finished.
The the element one that ran all last year. I started playing Lost Island after they started the monthly goals.
If later in the year we have the 1500 gems to by the portal, that is when the time play should start. Maybe the could scale be the award or offer something different.

This is by design, of course. This encourages the have nots to spend some real cash on the game. I know I bought a couple $.99 and $1.99 gem packs when I was starting out myself.

I may not be at mcquist's level of gem "wealth" but I do have enough gems to immediately buy these gateways and I had already bought three each of the new shrines so I will be getting my fourth shrines for each new elements if I can complete these quests!

I guess I need to get to playing, then. To be honest, I haven't played much, lately. I don't think I've even opened the app in a few days. The only thing that was keeping me going were the timed quests. I still have several Skylanders that need leveled up, but I never felt like wasting the time. Mostly the holidays did that to me, because I didn't want to take away from spending time with family. I just never got around to playing much since, as it seemed like it took so long to play. Because of that, I haven't built up my gem stash after spending a bunch a while back. I still have 4500, so enough to buy the gateways, and enough to max out my shrines so I would get the bonus shrine, but it would take almost everything I have. I'm not sure the gateways are worth it, but what else do I have to spend them on? And maybe it'll give me a reason to keep playing so I can build up my gem stash, again

Yes, that came to me too. I just let the boys do it. I had them building and collecting from post offices and huts for about an hour to complete Rufus' quests, and the "visiting" was over quickly. THe dirty socks and junk collection took a bit longer as it wasn't a 1:1 drop rate
