According to the article:
"All transgender people, bigender, asexuals, transvestites, crossdressers, people who need in a sex reassignment were recognized by Russian Government as a people with the deviations."

Okay, as horrible as that is, I busted out laughing as soon as I saw the title.


But seriously, even decades after the fall of the USSR (and with it, communism on a global scale), Russia is still a somewhat backwards country. I'm not surprised at all.

Okay, it's obvious that this really has nothing to do with actual traffic safety. What they're doing is essentially trying to homogenize the populace by cutting away diversity, and thus making it easier to control their thoughts, opinions and motives through the media (which in Russia is basically pro-imperialistic, anti-western propaganda).

Still, while it is a violation of human rights I have to admit that I laughed when I first heard about it.
