Nintendo hasn't released any different colored figures.

Just throwing out there that Gohastings had Pikachu and Peach for $3 each.

They're currently out of stock but considering that these two are among the most common amiibo in the US (or at least NY), it's not farfetched to think they'll be back in stock soon. For people like me who were on the fence about one or both of them because of price, this is a fantastic deal.

It's only for the US, however. Sorry international guys.

WAVE 3 NEWS: Someone on r/amiibo found release dates for Wave 3 figures in Japan. Most of the figures are listed to be released in Japan on January 22nd. And then Shulk, Sonic, and Mega Man listed for some time in February.

Of course Japan's release date isn't necessarily identical to the rest of the world, so don't take it too much to heart. But it can still be seen as a way to get an idea of when they might drop.

^ they had them for not even an hour at that price. I tried after seeing post on CAG but was too late...

Also Rosalina has been up on target the past couple of nights at around 11:10-11:15 pm for pre orders. Only for about 5 mins though but worth a look if you want her.....

^Maybe it was an error then? I'll keep an eye on the r/amiibo post about it to see if the orders made when they were $3 get cancelled.

^No confirmed date for the US/Canada. But Japan and Europe has most figures listed for release on January 22nd and 23rd respectively. So you can try then.

Though in both cases Shulk is listed for February.

Also if that Gamestop manager is to be believed, they're only ordering enough Shulks to fulfill preorders. So you may be out of luck unless someone doesn't pick theirs up.

They charge you right away if you use PayPal and I believe as well as CC. There was no option for me to be billed later when using PayPal....


On a side note: I'm glad I didn't buy the big 3 from evil bay or one of the amazons.....

Alright, thanks. With any luck, I might find one of her; though with my experience from Target's Skylander exclusives, I might be better off trying to find a relatively cheap one online. Possibly through importing.

I was under the impression they'd have some, but very few extras and that'd be it. Guess I'll be looking into importing him somehow.

^The plan Gamestop might have is to order enough for preorders the first time, and then order one more batch, hold them, and sell them later on as preowned.

Not fully confirmed to happen but it's not farfetched since the source is reliable and they did this with Xenoblade itself.

Wave 3 is pre-ordered, except for Rosalina.

I don't put much faith in the idea that one guy pre-ordered 100 Rosalinas, as they seemed to be near-impossible to pre-order. :(

^Supposedly the guy has multiple people doing these preorders for him all over the place. He could've easily jumped on the chance to do so and be partly responsible why preorders were taken down so soon.

Or it can very easily be a bluff. The guy is famous for trolling and while those photos are pretty convincing, there can be doubt.

Hopefully, the Targets near me will stock her well. I'm aiming to get at least two of them.

Ah well, at least I have Lucario and Shulk preordered. Maybe I'll be able to snag an extra of them when they're released in stores. Maybe.. *sniff* Maybe.

She's honestly perfect. Better than the prototype.

Definitely the most impressive of the more detailed characters just for how 1-1 she is with her render.

She looks a little chubby but is actually really done well surprisingly, and considering the fact that they had to mold and paint two figures without half assing is surprising.

Her fingers are made rounder than usual, but that's because making them sharp like they normally are would be unsafe for kids.

I tracked down Wii Fit Trainer in a local Smyths(UK toy shop) now to find that goddamn Villager.

NEW SUPER MARIO SERIES with new mario, luigi, bowser, peach, yoshi, and TOAD confirmed for march 20th, alongside MP10

Rosalina got confirmed too.

Will look into Pac-Man and Lucina. Maybe Robin.

I was right that the promo Mario would end up as a Mario Party-like figure. I have no interest in the Mario line. Honestly I don't think I'll care about amiibo beyond the Smash line unless they come out with Star Fox or something.

At least this gives me a bit more hope in getting a Rosalina if I can't get the Smash one.
