I just received a nice surprise from my local GS. Looks like they put out the Rebel Lob Goblin trap early and it wasn't register locked. The manager held one for my boys and I, great way to end 2014. I'm in North GA.

Has anyone else found R.L.G early? I want to know if it's worth driving to my GameStop yet.

hopefuly there'll be some left i can get at mine since 1-3 would be nice, i didn't even know there was a trap like that again with a variant. it's honestly not that hard to buy out gamestop's stock since there's only so many of them which i'd like to ask on how many were there for their shipments?

2 of my friends in 2 different states bought all 10 traps their local store recieves. As long as impatient idiots keep paying crazy prices for them people will be buying all of them. Any figure or trap can be obtained witj patience and a lottle effort. People will only stop wiping stores out of them when people stop paying for them on ebay. That is the only way it will stop.

I am not sure if crstofer bought a ton of them from around metro Detroit or from just the one store. In a 45 minute radius of my house, only two stores had them, one in Detroit and one in Ann Arbor. I obviously chose Ann Arbor. I am hoping that many stores just have not gotten them in yet and not that one person bought them all up. If your local store doesn't have them out, just give the GameStop employee the SKU number that crstofer was kind enough to share and they will be able to locate this for you. They only had 4 available in Ann Arbor, so I am not sure how big these initial shipments are.

I just went to my Gamestop in Syracuse, NY and they had 14 behind the counter that the guy was just about to put out. I was able to get one for me and one for my friends son with no problem. He didn't know anything about Skylanders day, but called another store and they said he could sell them today. I am glad I went, because they will probably be gone by next Saturday.

Crstofer, I wasn't accusing you. I was being funny and did state that the more likely thing is that some stores have not received their shipment of these yet. I have around 10 stores that I can get to within a 15-18 minute drive. Instead, I had to go to Ann Arbor. I was just letting people know that the inventory might be spotty. Since I took the trip, I did pick up two of the four. One for Rebel Lob Goblin and the other for Blaster Tron.

Found these traps in SW Ohio today. They had 3 on the pegs at my local Gamestop. Super glad I was able to get one early since I have to work on the 10th!

Yup. Went to GS up the street from me here in Phoenix, AZ and they had them on the pegs.

on topic after visiting the local gs they aren't getting a whole lot of these. there's only 4-8 in each store from what i've seen. if anyone has seen more then that they should share that i guess, and i visited 2 in the area here and they most they had was probably 4?

Looks like the second closest GameStop to me had them in. Grabbed two (one to keep sealed).

I saw 4 in mine.

Stores are getting partial cases - like no more than 4 in my area. There were none within a 20 mile radius of my house so I just grabbed them online...not worth the hassle to hunt these down...I still have vivid memories of Polar Whirlwind in my mind.

I wonder when we'll be seeing more light/dark traps shipping out. It'll be nice to have more on the shelves for those who want to have one of every villain trapped at the same time.

Yeah, I'm kinda irritated about the fact they didn't release the traps at the same time...as I also wonder why I should bother since I've trapped and evolved all dark/light villains on the traps I got. I guess this passes for replayability. As in, drop a trap, load the villain and speed run where their quest is. Wow, thanks Activision.

For kicks, went into Target...nothing but wave 1 water traps (no other element, no more than 5 traps on the shelf). No more than 4-5 trap masters either. Short of Shroomy being stuck on the pegs again, they looked very much sold out, and they were stocked very nicely two weeks ago. So, consider it a missed opportunity to sell these things immediately after holidays with gift cards.

For those of you who have Rebel Lob Goblin, can you post pictures of regular lob goblin and rebel lob goblin together? I can't really tell the difference...

My closest two stores claimed (I take everything with a grain of salt) "we won't put them out till Saturday Jan.10" Based on the website link, they don't even have them yet to put out! LOL Here's hoping these stores have them for Jan.10, otherwise there will be a lot of annoyed customers.

Thanks Daxious! 20 mile radius sold out around me, but a store en route to my inlaws (eastern CT) had a few. Nabbed one! 24 more to go for us. Nothing but water traps in all other local GS and Targets for us.

I was able to pick up 2 today in the GameStop in Columbia, MD. When I left, there were still about 8 left.

One of my 3 locals showed stock and sure enough had 10 sitting on 2 pegs. Didn't buy as I'll be getting one next weekend for .99 during skylander day along with tuff luck...

As soon as I get the Light Trap, I'm going to use it for Blaster-Tron.

GS said they will get a new shipment Tuesday through Wednesday.
I'll check.

Planning on getting two so one can be for Blaster-Tron and I won't have to find one later on then.

Not sure if GS expects to stock more, but if you didn't order it in that 24 hour window, it does appear they are sold out.

Yea it looks like they have the add to cart button back up. I'm just going to go to one of my local shops since it's cheaper than 3.5 shipping they charge and I was going out that way too.

I saw three of these in my local gamestop this weekend. Walked from them only because you get a trap in the light element pack...sooo...I'm only doing 1 per. The variant water trap has been available at my local target forever. Target also had a good amount of the new wave and about 3-4 each of Tuff Luck/Kaboom/Blastermind this weekend at 14.99 per. Nothing doing at TRU. Dark and Light element packs were nowhere to be found. Next stop, Skylanders Day on Saturday (unless TRU pulls a rabbit out of its hat mid-week)...I expect to go Saturday morning first thing and there to be neither pack. But hey, at least we'll get a free comic.

Thanks for the link, Matteomax. I have been physically chking my local GS the past 2 days to no avail, but the website was showing "Low Stock" at the next closest store. I got there tonight ans saw 2 left. Just grabbed the one I needed.

Yep..just ordered off of Gamestop.com along with a Winterfest Lobstar 3.50 shipping sucks, but so does driving 30 miles to the closest Gamestop that listes them in stock.

Used Gamestop website to reserve one locally. The store had three light traps, including the reserve, when we went to pick it up. It appears that stores are getting regular stock, so Saturday should have them for the "Skylanders Day".

Nah, going on skylanders day.
