nice, i picked them up today as well, and will be pre-ordering both elemental packs tomorrow.

Does anyone have a reciept with the Light Trap on it? My EB Games got them in but won't sell them unless I can prove another store broke street date. I'll go later to show them the video of someone using it (and get some lunch), but I don't know if that will be good enough...

Everyone go nuts. This was easier than I expected. Just hope nobody gets in trouble for this, but since I wasn't the first to break street date I think it'll be ok.



So this is my first thing from a new Element. This was actually what I expected to get LAST from them.

(If anyone's wondering, I bought three to keep one sealed and give the extra as a gift.)

Went to a EB Games earlier and got the light rocket trap, last one there, but they had no elemental packs, so the trap is all i have so far. Will it work without first unlocking the elemental levels?

What price were the packs?

$34 at target. No light pack at Broadway, few dark packs

Release date for W3 trap masters in Oz is 19/1

So the Target price is about the same as the EB price then. That's unusual.

I usually get Skylanders in Target and I've noticed when a figure is first released it's usually top dollar, then they do a "sale" indefinitely.

As this is the first time selling a $34 pack I would imagine they are testing the water/chancing their arm.

I think I will hold off for a price drop - $68 is a bit steep for 2 Skylanders.

It is a lot of money. Interesting that Target started off with a $16 per Trap Master price as soon as they launched Trap Team and then put their prices back up to $19 later, while everyone else was still at $19.

Target have had Trap masters on for $15 for a few weeks now and they still are.

Id be happy with the Wave 2 cores and Mirror of Mystery pack before any Wave 3 Trap Masters get released!

Some wave 2 cores have been at targets in 3 packs for a few weeks. Also High 5 and Bat spin.

True, while I have both 3 packs still means we (Australia) are missing:

• Fist Bump
  
• Tread Head
  
• Fizzy Frenzy Pop Fizz
  
• Deja Vu (legendary has been released)
  

Whoever is running the logistics @ Activivison/Toys for Bob dropped the ball with Trap Team

I think they dropped the ball with SF when they started releasing core, AP and gimmick characters a month apart. And Legendary Night Shift several months late. And part of the final wave two months late. And LightCore Bumble Blast never.

Quickdraw Rattle Shake was missing too...

Oh, I forgot about him. We never got Royal or orange base Giantkicks either, so I don't expect to get any Frito variants/sidekicks by default. The only Frito thing we did get (original Sidekicks) came a year late. And High Five I guess, but he was never touted as exclusive, so I didn't count him.

Just returned from Eb Games (pre-ordering Elite Terrafin and Stealth Elf) and I was asked if I wanted to pre-order KA-BOOM, TUFF LUCK and BLASTERMIND!

Release date is 19/1/2015.

Fingers crossed Mirror of Mystery will be relased too
