Well in my medically related hiatus I finally figured out to work Pokémon Bank and PokéTransporter. Now I've got my pathetically miniscule collection of old Pokémon in Alpha Sapphire. Does anyone know if these apps can work with a digital version of XY/ORAS? <.<

It should detect a file. I tried accessing it with Omega Ruby but I have not updated anything yet so it did not detect the new game, but it mentioned something about not detecting a game in the files.

MY Garchomp, (Diablo, my favorite pokemon in any of my games) OHKO multiple Greninja's back in X/Y, Hydreigons in B2/W2, and absolutely massacred everything in Diamond/Pearl/Platinum.

You might want to take in a Pokémon that can cause sleep/paralysis. Especially because Kyogre can heal itself. ;>.>

I'm trying to work on contests right now because you can't get Lucarionite unless you beat Master Rank on all of them. Oi...

I believe they do as long as you dont have the cartridge version in at the time

I got Jolly with IVs in Attack, Defense, and SpDefense, thus, it was worth it, despite being a huge pain to get.

It was Terrakion for me. It struggled itself to death the first time. The second time I went through 15 Dusk Balls, 2 Timer Balls, and 10 Ultra Balls. And it was paralyzed with red health. I have terrible luck with catching Pokémon, especially legendaries. =_="

I hear you almost all the legendatries (especially Azelf... I nicknamed him Satan..) took at least 50+ Utra Balls with a status ailment..

I caught him in like 10 balls. Cobalion is my bro because I always catch him with 2 balls.

Finished playing the digital version of Pokémon X that I got as a free download last year but never bothered playing. I don't know if I just had a team with horrible natures and IV's or if Chestnaught is the Hard Mode, but I had a real lousy time with this playthrough. My Flygon and Talonflame ended up carrying my team and after getting nothing out of Auroras I gave up and swapped it out for Xerneas. =_="

1. The Gen 5 starters are now available with there hidden abilities
2. It has been confirmed that the next batch of information for the upcoming game Pokkén Tournament is to come on January 23rd within the Weekly Famitsu Featuring online series on NicoNico. It's not known what information will be shown but we'll post all of it as and when it comes
3. A new Battle Competition has been announced. This competition is called the Generation Showdown and is only for Omega Ruby & Alpha Sapphire and is a Double Battle. In this competition, you can use all Pokémon from the National Pokédex except Mew, Celebi, Jirachi, Deoxys, Phione, Manaphy, Darkrai, Shaymin, Arceus, Victini, Keldeo, Meloetta, Genesect or Diancie. However, you can only have up to 2 of the following in your Battle Box: Mewtwo, Lugia, Ho-Oh, Kyogre, Groudon, Rayquaza, Dialga, Palkia, Giratina, Reshiram, Zekrom, Kyurem, Xerneas, Yveltal or Zygarde. Registration runs from February 5th to February 13th while the competition runs from February 13th to February 15th. All entrants get 1000 PokéMiles.
4. The Pokémon Company has uploaded a new trailer which showcases the official reveal of the Pokémon Hoopa in the west. No details have been given for its distribution yet, but the details are pending

Except Rayquaza had a pretty high catchrate since you need him to progress into the story....

Then you were pretty unlucky. Rayquaza's catch rate was around that of Xerneas/Yvetal in XY. I caught the latter with a Quick Ball. XP

In Pokemon Pearl, I had caught Palkia in a quickball without ever having to battle him. That also felt really good.
