We've got thread after thread on what Skylanders we like and would recommend, but what about our not-so-evil-anymore friends? Which of them do you like?
I'll start off. For raw power and satisfying gameplay, Trolling Thunder is definitely one of my favorites. He plays how you would expect a tank to play, and his secondary attack is just soooooo satisfying.
For being a good skylander support and needing a little knowlage to really play as him, Rage Mage is also one of my top picks. You can give your skylanders steroids, or bludgeon trolls with a ball of mud from across the screen! Plus, I find his dialogue funny.
For being my go to guy in Koas' Doom challenge, Hood Sickle will be my final pick. He's got Eon's Elite damage output at close range and decent damage output everywhere else (provided you spam his short-ranged dash before using the sythe). He may be super slow, but he needs some sort of drawback, or he'd be the only villian I ever use.

I like Scrap Shooter, Krankenstein, and Chef Pepper Jack. Bone Chompy's pretty good too.
I also like Dreamcatcher's personality, but not her gameplay. |

I only have the villains from the first five chapters... so far, Buzzer Beak is definitely one of my favorites. Freezing things with Chill Bill is kinda cool. but not exactly effective unless it is a co-op game or something.

Nightshade is my favorite. Hood Sickle is my old favorite. Broccoli Guy for his heals and commentary. Chompy Mage for being himself. Chill Bill for his music. Dreamcatcher just because I don't know. Bombshell because I like magic turtles.

For me it's nightshade you can use a low level skylander and get fast gold for new powers and sometimes gain a level or two. Kaos is my second favorite I can shoot down air ships with his lazer eyes

Broccoli Guy. His voice is the best. Also - lay down his aura, then swap back and heal your injured Skylanders.

Broccoli Guy has an almost permanent spot on my portal just for his great commentary.
I also love Chef Pepper Jack, Rage Mage, Pain-Yatta, Bad Juju, and Wolfgang |

Probably my top picks are Broccoli Guy, Luminous, and Wolfgang.
When it comes to rapid damage, Hood Sickle doesn't even come close to Wolfgang, who has hardly any build-up or recovery time before and after attacks, and isn't slowed unless actively using his ranged notes (which he can cancel out of if he needs to dodge). He has his knee-slide attack to cut right through enemies and dodge ranged attacks, and his basic melee is pretty good when you're surrounded by tons of little enemies. His timer is incredibly long once Evolved, too. He's pretty much a jack of all trades, damage-wise, with ranged, charging, and sweeping attacks. Broccoli Guy, as much as I was expecting to dislike him, is genuinely funny and useful. He can lay down healing auras repeatedly, making him effectively better than a Darklight Crypt Healing Potion, especially between waves of the Kaos Doom Challenge. Luminous is one I've started experimenting with, and his lightbeam attacks have seemed to be really useful for crowd control, and his large meteor attack homes in on enemies, from what I've seen. He's probably one of the better ones for bosses (although I need to playtest him more).

Wolfgang is actually really good. It's a shame that they didn't give him a combo for his primary attack! |

Yeah, a three-hit combo would have been fantastic. Maybe something like a left sweep, a right sweep, then a short jump that has a downward slam with the axe, creating a small AoE that has knockback and increased damage. I love that all of his sweeps have a subtle red music notes afterimage, too.

I know, it's his Jump>Action 1, but I was thinking of it as a part of a combo.
Actually, maybe a three-combo system would be cool. Action 1>1>2 could string a forward dash with a ton of knockback into the combo, while Action 1>1>3 could make him release a wave of simultaneous music notes in a wave on the ground.
