Has anyone heard about a TRU event for tomorrow? At my local TRU, the worker in electronics said they were holding some items back for an event tomorrow. He didn't have any details. I'm not sure what to think. Maybe, TRU could be releasing Bat Spin and High Five, if it's true.

Wave 3 traps and bat spin maybe, but high five is going to be held until january for the US due to frito lay

Could be one of many misinformed electronics guys at TRU, but I'd keep a heads up for a toy alert or email regardless. I can't imagine they'd be selling anything new.

I just got a hot toy alert for the light/dark packs for dec 27th.

I was in TRU this afternoon and the electronics guy said the Sunday release of W3 figs was a limited drop before Xmas and Saturday is "the official release date". Also said he had loads of cases in the back that he couldn't put out until Saturday. I may pop in as well and see what's on the shelf in the morning. Wouldn't mind if they still had B1G1 40% off on some W3 figs. smilie

Same here, SlayerX11. Already got them when they came out on the 21st. Wish it was Bat Spin, but I doubt it. I might go and check.

I called today looking for Light and Dark packs and was told to check back Saturday. Think I will get there at 9am tomorrow.

Yeah, my Toys R Us said it was Light and Dark expansion packs too. No W3 traps have shown up yet.

Well, went at 9 to TRU in Greensboro, NC. Not really an 'event'. They had received 1 box with 3 Dark and 3 Light packs. Would only sell 1 per family, this prohibits the B1G1 40% off. I picked up the Dark but will wait to open and see if they get some Light in next week.

^You should've complained to a manager. That's bull. TRU can't limit it like that when they're different items and the sale is specifically for BOGO. No TRU around me does that.

I agree it was bunk. There were basically 3 groups of us there at 9 to buy them. I have not opened the Dark pack yet and plan to check back this week, would like to get the B1G1 40off.

Go ahead and open it cause all you need is the receipt for a price adjustment.
