Starflash shut down her fire, seeing how the creature was already been stopped. She was pleased though, that at least she was trying to help.

Blarna saw the two blurs stop after the creature fell, and she decided to talk to the dragon and phoenix; she especially wanted to meet the other phoenix.

Chimera was the first to notice the other phoenix, and said to Starflash, "Look, another phoenix."

Starflash couldn't almost believe it. It was indeed another phoenix.
"Hey, you're right. It is another phoenix. I though I was the only one. Oh can I go there,
please? she asked Chimera, needing her permission as if she was her mother.

Chimera raised an eye ridge curiously at her new friend, but then Blarna reached them "Well, it's nice to see i'm not the only phoenix here, my name is Blarna."

"I am Chimera." Chimera gave her wings one strong flap and the feathers vanished, showing her red wing membranes again.

"I'm Starflash..." she introduced herself, wanting to say more, but no words came. It was nice to have another phoenix around. She hasn't seen one of her kind since she left her family.

Dusk fell to his knees, tears streaming from his eyes, he could see the creatures life draining out of him. The fear of dying alone. The numbness it had felt, and finally nothing. Dusk wish he wasn't born with the Chaotic Eyes. So he wouldn't have to suffer along with those that are dying. No matter how far he goes or where he goes death seems to always follow him.

"Nice to meet you Starflash." Blarna dipped her beak down.

Chimera looked at the fallen creature, which had started cracking up, "Looks like we aren't safe yet."

Starflash was having enough. She now needed to know what that creature was.
"I have lived near that volcano for months, and nothing indicated something like that living there. What does it wants? Why is it attacking?" she asked, desperate for answers.

Dusk looked up when a chilling realization came over him. The creature was still alive. "This is bad" he mumble to himself as he started to make his way to where everyone is gather.

Skyward hovered over Shade. "If that monster is shapechanging, then you'll probably need your troops back out there," she suggested.

Dusk got then when he saw that it was changing forms, "Metamorphosis?" Dusk said now understanding what the creature is doing. Much like a caterpillar turning into a butterfly. The rocky shell must be an cocoon as the creature changes.

"If this thing is going to be worse than that, I don't think we'll have a chance." Chimera replied.

"Oooookay then," Skyward said, distracted. "Troops! Shade wants the city evacuated!"

"Did that just happen?" Blarna asked.

"Yup." Chimera asked, staring at the clouds.

Meanwhile, Gale and Polara were starting to shake in fear, until they noticed the creature disappeared.

"What should we do? Leave?" Starflash asked Chimera, showing that she has grown dependant on her.

"Well, I'm going to land, my wings are starting to ache." Chimera replied.

"Well, it won't be easy talking to you from up here, so why not." Blarna said, diving downward.

Dusk flew to Shade and landed next to him, "Hold on to me its getting to dangerous here" the Lunar Dragon said

Starflash followed Chimera everywhere. Since she had saved her once, the young phoenix didn't want to leave her side.

Dusk pooled part of his energy on the rooftop of where Shade pointed out, "Lunar Step!" he said with a flash of light he teleported with Shade in his arms onto the rooftop.

Starflash could see there was a commotion nearby, but she didn't want to leave Chimera's side.

History: Gregora was an abandoned egg, and hatched in alone in an empty nest outside the city. He was found by a family of earth dragons who, despite not knowing his species, took him in as one of their own. Later in life he had found that he was of the extinct race of Promethean Dragons, and often wondered why he was even alive. During his teenage years, he discovered he could use more than just earth, eventually becoming a master of quantum energy.
Other: Because of his elemental alignment, he has an aura of pure energy, and anyone who receives one of his scales can use its energy to mimic his powers. He has yet to give someone a scale however, because his species used that as a bonding ritual between family, close friends, and lovers.

Chimera and Blarna noticed that something was going on, but when Blarna took a step forward, Chimera extended a wing, "Hold up, if there's one thing I've noticed about this city's officers, it's how pushy they are. Best that the three of us keep a distance, lest I have to get two phoenixes under my shadow cloak this time. "

Gregora flew above the city encased in a sphere of light to protect him from debris. He had an eagle-eye view of everyone as he circled around the air. With a flash of light he projected his voice to everyone in the area. "Does anyone need help? Are you all alright?" His voice boomed, coming from every direction at once.

Chimera looked at her companions, "Well let's get some cover, that building should do it." She pointed at a brick house.

Starflash followed without question.

As the trio quickly made their way into the building, Chimera whispered to Blarna, "Does your species tend to imprint on people when they are at a young age?"

Blarna whispered back, "I don't know, Starflash seems to be a unique case. To be honest, I don't even think this is the place I hatched, nothing here is familiar."

Gergora teleported to Shade the instant he heard and saw him, and expanded his shield of light to protect Shade and Dusk. "What are you guys doing in the city? It's a deathtrap right now!"

Starflash wasn't sure if those two were talking about her, but she decided to act naturally. She instead focus her attention on the suddenly many officers that were in the distance.

Chimera peeked outside and saw the officers, "If they come over here, i'll try to hide us." She flexed her tail, ready for what happened next.

Silence followed, but only for a small amount of time, "So Chimera, what was the deal with the feathers on your wings, the ones that vanished?" Blarna spoke up after a while.

"Your the chief?!" Gregora jumped back in surprise "I'm your new rookie officer! Gregora, I signed up last week" He saluted Shade and tried to act as formal as possible "I will use my powers to the fullest under your order, Sir!"

Gregora followed down the stairs, giving his report, "A sectors of the city have been evacuated with minor injuries. A small group of copper dragons have gone missing without a trace, however" Gregora flapped his wings in frustration. "I even searched for heartbeat signs with no success"

"Near the southern side of the volcano, Sir! They just vanished, house and all." Gregora pulled a book from a satchel tied to his side "The only reason why I know they are missing is because of the city records."

The young dragon quietly sits on the opposite side of the room craddling a object that was wrap in a cloth.

Polara turned over to Shadow and the griffin, "You two might want to get in here, things aren't so great out there." The ice dragoness pointed back inside the cave.

When Kumara finally calmed down and heard the story she turned to Polara and Gale.
"I thank you for helping Shadow, if it weren't for you then he probably would have died from shock." She said with a softer tone.
"I'm Kumara by the way." Shadow just shuffled nervously on the spot.
"We should get out of here... I heard that a group of dragons have evacuated the city and we should too," Kumara said.
