When they're idiots who opened a registration window on Monday...

And through scavenging you can get the egg. Through digging, you can get chests too, but I only found one, while in the coli I found at least 8.

Damn that's cute.

And chests hold everything. Familiars, food items, scrolls, but dunno about the eggs. But the thing is you get only one thing. You can get just one familiar, or just one food item, and so on.

And yeah, it's better to scavenge actually. You can get the egg only through scavenging from what I figured, while the chests you can always farm for in coli.

They should really consider that people have lives and can't stay in the coli for 12 hours just to hopefully get a Nocturne. 2 weeks doesn't seem like a lot of time, especially since there are holidays now. And finals.

You can still get chests even in the training field. I think you can get them in almost all venues, but the chest familiar varies. Black chests are only in kelp beds, purple-ish ones are in the Arena as far as I know, and that... third one, is in lower level venues.

but seriously this registration window was the stupidest thing they've ever done

I got like 6 chests and they all had useless food and trinkets. I did get that little puppet nocture trinket tho, which is kinda cute. Completely useless, but cute.

EDIT: For now I'm in the Waterway and Arena. Easiest to farm, and you can get up to 4 chests per battle.
