It has been millions of years sense the last eruption of Mt. Red Rock. The port of New Draco that sits at the base of the dormant volcano is busy and going along with the arrival and departure of great sailing ships. But then there was an earthquake. Earthquakes are quite common in New Draco due to it being on an active fault line but this earthquake was stronger than the rest. People around the city thought nothing of it untill earthquakes began to happen more often and with greater intensity. Soon people began to see black smoke rising from Mt. Red Rock along with these strange creatures whos body was made entirely of lava. At firts the creatures did nothing except stay at the rim of the volcano but soon ventured down into the city and began attacking. They nearly burned down the whole city and soon returned to Mt. Red Rock. It is up to you to investigate why the dormant volcano that has been dormant for millions of years suddenly started to billow out smoke and these creatures as well as the cause of the earthquakes.

My Characters

Name: Shade
Gender: Male
Age: 250
Species: Dragolet (Very similar to dragons)
Weapons: Carrys a sword.
Elements: Fire and light.
Personally: Mysterious and intimidating. But Shade has a side of him that few see. He is very friendly once he gets to know you. He is secretive and normally stays away from most other beings that he doesn't trust or know well.
Appearance: His entire body is black except for his eyes which are yellow and his feather like projections on his front shoulders and above where his ears are they have black tips to them. He mostly wears his golden falcon helmet. He rarely takes off his helmet. His wings are small but muscular the same with his legs and tail. He has black horns that curve slightly up but his left horn is half broken. He has a scar on his right eye. If one were to look at his body they would see many scales some missing some broken. His face has many spikes on it but he mostly wears his helmet because of his scar and his morals. He also has a pair of human like hands which have small wing like projections on the side of his wrist which help him fly. If one of the small winglits were damaged or gone he would have a very hard time flying. His tail also has small winglits but they are mostly used for quick movements in the air. He has a yellow tail spike which curves slightly up. His spine has many yellow spikes connected together by a dark blue membrane.
History: He is the last of a race that died long ago. He originally came from another land very, very far away and was raised by fire dragons whom were famous for their stealth and tracking capabilities. He was given a golden falcon helmet but his home was destroyed shortly after by bandits, killing his adopted family. He has sense then joined New Draco's Police force to protect the city from harm.
Other: Shade has a little of dark powers but cannot control them because he cannot normally access them under normal conditions. He is only able to access them in extreme danger or something extremely dramatic in happens to him. He also travels a lot. Where he stops he runs out every robber and bandit from the village or small city. Every bandit or robber that hears his name shudders and eather leaves town or never leaves their hiding place at night. Shade also usually only travels/patrols at night due to him being secretive and distrustful of others.

ooc: accepted! I've changed that so any mythical creature that would have elements naturally. But I do have one thing about Shadow's helmet. Change it so it isn't invincible.

Shade was up on a tall tower that overlooked the city. He was looking at the volcano. "What is your secret?" He sat as smoke rose from it.

Some lava creatures were fighting with eachother while others mingled here and there.

Soon a Draco City police officer approached Starflash. "This area is restricted. Leave now."

The officer pointed his spear at her. "As officer of New Draco I order you to leave this volcano!"

Shade noticed a dragon with orange glowing eyes looking at him he then quickly flew down off the tower and landed in front of him.

"I need back up over here!" The officer said.

Then another guard came to his aid. "This is a restricted area! This is your final warning leave now or be arrested."

"Be not afraid my friend I mean no harm." Shade said.

"We know you are there. This area is restricted due to the recent events. Dangerous creatures and hazards." One of the guards said.
