If anyone is interested in trading cards, ill be listening my doubles here. I have a extra water trap holder.2 life trap holders, 1 earth trap holder. Its 2 early to know if im going to do the parallel cards. To me their not worth it. Out of 11 packs we got 2. I still have Giants and Swap Force extras. Just send me ur numbers and ill check for you.

I'm getting some UK cards sent to me from Topps Direct, though will also buy some of the USA cards when I see them here. Have only seen the dog tags. If their is a difference between both like Swap Force then I may try and collect both (UK seems to be easier to do so for the 1st 2 sets).
So Yeah I'm willing to trade some cards when I get them.

Nice to hear from u again shelly. To answer your question. As far as the uk set i dont know, but the us set looks fairly easy. No dreaded flip cards. They do have parallel cards which to me are a waste, because its the same front and back with a gold border instead of a white. According to the odds on the back, their the hardes 1 in 6packs.

Cards 74 & 75 of the USA set have the checklists on the back: 194 cards total listed, basically 100 regular, 84 foil and 10 coloring cards. Not to sure on the backs of these cards as they are a hodgepodge of information, checklist or create a 3x3 card picture. Shall see what the UK cards have in store when they arrive.

Shane I'll check for cards you need from last year. So mad I spent WAY too much money and couldn't finish...ugh. my own fault.

I ordered the toppsdirect.com albums and some cards. I'll post once here and I know which doubles. I've beenso busy the skylanders thing has taken a back seat. I've got a lot of catching up to do collecting and with people.
I'll get some US cards ordered too. If anyone could let me know where to buy boxes I'd appreciate it. I dont have my records from last year...thanks again

Well I got the UK cards last night. They are different and might be a bit better then what they have done with the USA cards. One surprise is the 4 pocket pages in the folder, though they all fit (course some of the cards have to go back to back) and their picture cards are only 2x2 unlike the 3x3 here. Neither set offers any story on the villains. For the UK set - only the Trap Masters have bios along with some older characters (I checked to see if it wasn't a SF logo on those and it was not). They also have the mini characters as cards which the USA version does not. Lastly they offer 8 cards per pack and their trap card is not dedicated as 1 of them always (got 5 out of 24 packs) which is far better then the 5 cards and trap holder you get with the USA packs.

I plan on getting more cards for each set, but also plan on ordering another UK folder (Swap force) so I can use its 9 pocket pages for the USA set. Now we just have to be on the lookout for Toys R US to see if they follow suit with their special legendary cards for Trap Team (not sure if they will) and it looks like there may not be tins this year (which I am fine with).

I have a question regarding the back of the card, Giants and Swap Force have Bios on the back. How about the Trap Master cards, New Skylander, S1,S2,S3,S4 cards, do they have Bio too?

Bios on these are hit and miss, they like to include lots of "create a picture" pieces on the back. Neither the USA or UK sets are great for this.

Now you could get the bios with the UK set for the Trap Masters but only with the Holographic foil cards.

Back to the USA set, they have two 3 cards by 3 cards pictures, easily put in 9 pocket pages. Then they have two 4 cards by 4 cards pictures that do not fit nicely in said pages. Only other gripe I have is thetrap holder cards being 1 per pack, which leaves just 5 other cards per pack for an overall set of 194 cards. The UK set has 8 cards per pack, trap holder card is in 1 out of 4 packs with an overall set of 176 card and I can get these with shipping about what I can for the USA cards.

Every year I make it a point to buy the "Starter" Topps collector booklets for each game (Giants, and Trap Team, respectively). It's in these folders that I keep my trading cards and stickers I get from each figure. Of course, I had to make my own for Spyro's Adventure. I just saw that UK is releasing a Trap Team starter pack that has yet to surface here in the United States. Looks like I'll be importing :-)

I'm not to actively trying for the gold bordered cards, much like the flip cards from Swap Force, but I'm fine with any that I can get. Have 21 so far.
On an added note, I've learned from CattyNoir on here that Walmart's Trap Team packs have 8 special cards with the mini characters. Course it is 1 in 4 to find them.

Advice from fellow SkyLander fans...we are looking to get into collecting the Topps cards, but have no idea really what they are, Are they a game? is it just purely collecting them all? and if so, how many Spyro Adventure cards are there, how many Giants, Swap Force, Trap Team, etc? Thanks for your help!

They are just collector cards, much like baseball/football cards - nothing like Magic, etc. There are only 3 sets of the cards: Giants (which encompasses both Spyro's Adventure & Giants), Swap Force & Trap Team. I'll have to look at my list later on to get you a number of cards for each set.

If you want a good start with the Swap Force cards just let me or others here know. I'm pretty sure I can get you the whole base set along with the regular silver foils.

It was cool but also sad, bought turtle20000's collection and got some other ones, am now down to just Drobit Walmart mini in Trap Team as well as the holo villain Shield Shredder 161. Swap Force is complete. Have about half of the golds. If anyone wants to trade or unload any golds or have those 2 cards I need, would give a big bounty.

Now that my want list is so small, I probably won't need to update this list for a long time. I still have plenty of flip motions and other rare cards available if anyone needs, even have one walmart mini extra (Bop) to trade to help get Drobit as well.
