It's news to me, so maybe its news to everyone else too? haha

My Walmart had this new Trap Team bundle in store today.



The bundle includes standard starter pack stuff (Game, poster, portal, Snap Shot, Food Fight) plus Sure Shot Shroomy, Funny Bone, Chopper, Terrabite and Bop. All their stickers and cards are included, along with an extra trap, Undead.

Unfortunately, there was no price listed, but it was included on the end cap with the Dark Edition ones, all labeled for $99.99 so..maybe the same price?
Also, I only spotted Wii and 360 versions of the pack so I'm not sure if there's other ones or not.

^ I saw this on release day and thought it was cool! And compared to ARV of everything, a great deal

Costco sells this same box for $90, BTW. I had one for my kids, but returned when I got TRU to give me a dark edition for the $39 price during a one-day sale of starter packs. Read somewhere that the triple pack may be random FYI, however the one I had was exactly as pictured, so I'm not sure if that's accurate or not.

All those extra Skylanders and still only Snap Shot can open an elemental gate. :-P

Versus the default prices, you're basically getting the Minis and the extra trap free. Not the best deal around maybe, but fairly impressive as a holiday gift.

Considering at this point in time there are only two triple packs, it wouldn't be that big of a gamble! I think you're thinking of the Swap Force bundle that had a totally random single, when it showed Rip Tide on the box (who wasn't released with the game so it was an advance figure)
