We are 51.6% of level 44 and after picking up all the AE huts and my 25th B&B this weekend, I did something a little goofy.
We sold EVERYTHING that wasn't a gem building/decoration. No more blue balloons no more houses and all our community producers are gone. We have A Fishery island a B&B island and a tavern island
One island has all the character huts and SL houses and the "earth" island has all the shrines, sanctums and sculptures on it (with giant houses)
there are 2 completely empty large islands and we will undergo a full remodel once we have time to just tap and drag.

we're going to let the boys play around and see what they want it to look like

That's a solid idea. I'd planned on doing something like that and have been unloading stuff slowly for the last few months.

I would like to see the results on how that works. I had that idea back at level 35 just before I started getting Huts.

Wow, your "empty" islands must be absolutely covered in unemployed Mabu!

not really...there's maybe a dozen walking around (and that's a high estimate) a couple of the companion at any one time (right now it's ruggles and ramses) and so far only Wildfire as far as free 'landers. No missions in effect, it's just kind of dead around there.

But we do have 10-12 mobs and several chompy mounds. maybe that detritus is "discouraging" too many walkers

I had the eight sanctuaries at the Central Island in the elemental order as well as the toy link towers and shrines also in the elemental order orbiting the sanctuaries, should give all of you an idea of what it looks like.

apparently if you build roads--the mabu will come walk on them. Who knew?!

I thought it would be fun to see some screenshots during christmas.

I love the maze too!!

It'd be great if they had a corn decoration for the maze.

This is my main island three months later, after I finished revamping it.

I said I'd improve the rest of the islands, and it's what I did!



First things first, my Tech Island is the first one that's pretty much finished, went for a sort of rich/cultural district feel. Bushy Trees look ugly everywhere else, but in here it matches the Observatory just nicely.



Next my Magic Island, messy but still really pretty with the old Magic Sanctuary. It'll probably need some cleanup eventually, but for now it's good with my current gem production.



And last but not least, the first finished design for the Undead Island for the time being!Hjijinx' Hut really spruced it up, and I decided to give it a lot more variety ever since the last screenshot. I mixed road types so it'd remind one of ruins, and moved the Farmer's Market elsewhere since it just didn't match the color scheme.

Wow a ruins effect for Death island is a great idea .

Ahh Me see ye have unlocked the rare leprechaun island . Bravo good lad bravo .

Now that there is so much inventory space, I just reorganized my islands. Was hoping extra open space would attract more traptanium, but so far no luck (nothing in 2 days). Oh well, I'm still enjoying the new look: (Sorry for all the edits - haven't posted images before)
