Hell no.
Only if you like Nintendo's first party games and can justify the purchase. The third party support is dead. |

Well, Nintendo is my favorite company and with some of the upcoming games, I really want one. Should I get Hyrule Warriors or The Wonderful 101?

Both. The Wonderful 101 is cheap now ($20 is the cheapest i've seen it) and Hyrule Warriors is amazing though, but if I were to just choose one, i'd go with TW101

It isn't completely dead, and even if it was, it wouldn't matter - just get a PC for third party (or one of the other consoles if it's more affordable), and then get a Wii U too, if we all must play Assassin's Creed 25 or Call of Duty 500. Plus, Nintendo's games have a much longer shelf life than the majority of games on the market, and they have plenty of games at this point anyway.

Third Party is dead, dude. The only third party developer on the WiiU seems to be Sega. |

If you like Nintendo games, it's worth it. A lot more 1st party titles are on its way so Ninty is picking up steam on games.

Actually, unless you count Xenoblade Chronicles X(which is a 2nd party title), there are very few 3rd party titles coming out next year. Besides the select games that got released on the eShop and Watch Dogs, there weren't that many this year either, if I'm not mistaken. Though I agree: Get a PC or other console for 3rd party titles. I plan on getting a PS4 at some point, and all the Wii U games I've gotten so far are going to last me years.

Totally worth the money. We have Bayonetta 2 which other consoles don't have (a game with a great combo system, much more immerse than Hyrule warriors). And then you have your ordinary Nintendo games, like Mario Kart 8 which is a lot of fun, or Zelda series. But hold on, that's not it. You can also play Wii games on your Wii U. So even old, charming classics are available, including games from the past on platforms N64, NES and others. Wii U is great because it has backward compatibility, which PS4 and Xbone don't have.
But honestly, I agree what the others said. Having a cutting edge PC seems to be the best option. Or having a PC and a Wii U is even better. Don't believe the people that say the Wii U is dying. It's very much alive.
