Yeah, because on the Swapper packaging, I remember Hoot loop having free rangers catchphrase. Goes to show you that the boxes aren't always right.

That's just a packaging error. This is like S1 Zook's package, he had "Bamboo-Yah" as his catchphrase, before in Giants, they changed it to "Locked and Loaded".

Yeah... I guess mixed up catchphrases is not comparable to the possible chance of no Skylander using it at all...

At this point I'm just hoping to see the Kaos Trap relatively soon.

Yet on the skylanders.com web site http://www.skylanders.com/characters/tuff-luck

it is "Deal With It" and her voice was actually recorded as that. Not sure which one is right.

Yes, even if it looks like a "dirty" gold, not a shiny one, like Blast Zone or Spy Rise.

However, all the in-game pics we have of him show his armor as being dark grey, almost black, and not even metallic.

Is there any kind hacker that can confirm that...?

EDIT: also noticed that his "horn" looks made of fire, while his art and in-game model show it as being made of the same armor's metal.

Yeah, I konw that In game he looks tho have gray armor, that's why I pointed this out. Maybe a last minute change? Maybe he start out gold, but the first upgrade you get he changes colors? Highly unlikely, but possible.

Well, we have pretty good evidence that a decent bit of changes were made after marketing was notified but before the code was finalized.

When I went to the store and saw LC Pop fizz, I was like "Wait, what? That's the wrong pose! He's supposed to have 2 potion bottles! Not 1!" So I thought it was a mis posed, and thought it was super rare. So now I can be bugged looking at a golden trail blazer, even though he has black armor in the game.

His figure was different from the pose they showed on the character poster for the lightcore. Likely changed so they only had to light up one bottle instead of two. Possibly a design change due to manufacturing issues, but more likely for cost savings.

His original design is on the posters even.

Definitely a big change, but not what I would call a proper "last minute" one.

I mean, after all a lot of Skylanders' arts depicts the characters in different posts than their actual figure's (Krypt King, Grim Creeper, Fryno, Chop Chop), but none, so far, has show a truly aesthetic (color, material, proportions) change this big, at least from what I remember.

Same here. I didn't order wave 3 from Walmart because they only had the Trap Masters. If TRU has a BOGO deal, I'll get Wave 3 from them, plus I have a Rewards card with them.

Considering the US Frito Lay is giving away singles of him, I'd say yes. I'm having a hard time saying any figure will not be available as a single outside of Legendary Blades or certain Light/Dark TrapMasters (their marketing disposition is simply unknown or I'm not paying attention).
