Well, fellow Portal Masters, here's how I came up with whole situation. These are the remaining ones post Wave 3

Trap Masters - (general release), , , , Knight Light and Knight Mare

Cores- ,
, , , Spotlight and Blackout. Also, if they decide to do it, single and

If they do put Light & Dark Trap Masters in Wave 4, then it would be either , or would appear with them. would most likely be Wave 5, so I'm going either or for wave 4. What's left after that is for wave 5.

As for the cores, same rule applies to what I mentioned above. As for what would accompany Blackout and Spotlight, that's anybody's guess. I would go either , or , but I wouldn't be surprised if it's to coincide with the other two Frito-Lay figures. Plus if they're smart, keep the last two Water cores together.

That's just a rough guess.
But if they release Midnight Museum & Sunscraper Spire, then the single packs for the Light & Dark cores will come out in Wave 5...if they choose to do so

No, Badwolfmichael, I am not. I merely deduct what's left of the regular line, and made a simple process of elimination.
Here's how I did it:
Of the Trap Masters that are left, & have the highest buzz.
, since she was released on a limited basis during Wave 1, would more likely be Wave 5
Since they added Knight Light & Knight Mare, that ups the number to 6 remaining, thus there would be three in Waves 4 & 5.
For the cores, like the Trap Masters, there are six remaining. If the speculation is true and the new elements are released in Wave 4, then there would be one more to fill out Wave 4.
I speculated on either , since & are coming out in Wave 3, he should be released after the other two. , on the other hand, has a fan base more than the other two, since they don't have as much of any buzz on this site. Plus the way I see it, & seem like they're patterned off previous figures.
Though reminds me a bit like - breath weapon, dash and slam

Also, way to reveal that info and potentially get him/her into trouble. *sigh*

Wait until Activision or other retailers actually announce something.

So far, I haven't heard if my preorder from Walmart has been cancelled. I got to their site before they removed them, so I was able to preorder Knight Light & Knight Mare. I hope they come. I'll take pics of them on my IPad. Just got to figure out how to post them from my tablet

My preorder also hasn't been cancelled. Hopefully I get it on Jan. 8th like it says.

Worse case scenario, mega spyro, is that they send you an email telling you it's delayed.

It's like a privilege ( I guess that's what you'd call it) to even know the names of the elements,

Absolutely true.

But, apparently, they all forgot about it...

Some fans, particularly young ones, nowadays only care about is demanding Acti/TFB to show them the elements all because of hackers and glitches leaked them. They aren't going to reveal them because of these errors, they will still reveal the new elements and Skylanders at their own time and schedule.

Exactly, but, even if they are young users, they should understand it, after it has been told serveral times, in all the possible ways...

I'm not demanding it, I just can't wait to play the action packs ! It's just like any other character, you have to wait for it.

To me, Light and Dark aren't really THAT impressive or anything...

I'll be excited when they exactly and officially reveal them. Of course there will be killjoys who say 'We already know about them!' and such.

The biggest gripe I have towards TFB/Activision is that they're like Disney. They tend to overproduce too many figures.
TRU still has tons of Giants & SF, yet their shelves never seem too get empty. Only the for the new games and that's barely.
True, there are some figures that are nearly impossible to get w/o spending tons of money.
Honestly, Acti/TFB ought to concentrate only on new figures, cores or otherwise. Concentrate on the game and not the amount of figures.

Well, so far I've never really had problems getting the regular Skylanders (I don't collect variants, Lightcores and reposes), except for Wham-Shell (ugh), Warnado and Camo.

And I can say I don't regret buying any character.
I personally never needed a motivation to buy and play them, except for the fact that they looked and proved to be fun and ejoyable.

They sell spyro adventure wham shell Camo and Warnado in stores with a sticker that says there compatible in trap team. How do you think light dragons works for spotlight

Thanks, but I've already found them back in Giants.
It just hasn't been as easy as with the other characters.

Again, regarding Light and Dark, just because you can hack a game to find hidden content that shouldn't be revealed yet, and also share it with other people, doesn't mean you have to, or even you have the right to do it.

About the "leaks" before the game's release, they were probably just Activision's teases, like the ones in the gameplay videos or the 3DS screenshots.

Everything is just "gift" from the hackers.
I thank them a lot for their hard work, but if they woudn't have done it, no one would know ANYTHING specific, about them.

What better way to create hype, than letting a few people know about those new Elements and characters (I think that SkylanderDad and maybe also FGTV knew about that too), and letting them write an article or even making a few videos, knowing that they would have soon taken down...?

Seriously, how would anyone that doesn't work at Activision know about them...?

But Beenox was a different company apart from Toys for Bob, they didn't know that the two elements were supposed to be revealed so early (as evident in EvanTube's video on the 3Ds version where the symbols was first leaked).

I know, while Toys for Bob knew that the new elements were needed to be kept secret until a later time, Beenox didn't know.

Lead us to the fate that we start digging into the files I kind of feel bad that we chose this fate but with new elements it was going to happen with this fate

The more I think of it, the more it seems like the right option.

They even described Spotlight and Blackout as being "spider-like" creatures.

I mean, if you saw them, even for just a few seconds and even if they were just blurry images, you would immediately recognize them as dragons.

Activision probably told them about 2 new quadrupeds as the Cores, a centaur as the Dark Trap Master and an "angel" as the Light one. They never even shown them, in my opinion.

My personal opinion on the Light and Dark characters is they all look pretty cool, my favorites being the two Dark characters. Plus, I can't wait to get the traps so I can play as Tae Kwon Crow, Lob Goblin, and other villains (as well as try out the new Doom Raiders). But I respect Activision and will wait for them to officially announce them.

Same here, AdamGregory03. That would be cool, but the wait for them to announce the new elements is driving me .

Somehow the whole way in which the info was "leaked" seems odd. Say that you are Activision. Are you really going to forget to tell Beenox that the new elements are a secret? They are also a company that makes their $ by programming. Not to lessen the skill of those who found it, but shouldn't a company of that size, with all its resources, have been able to prevent it, at least for a little while? Look at the buzz that has been generated about these new elements, honestly, and tell me that there is no way that this info getting out was absolutely, positively, not part of the plan. With what looks like the better part of 2 months between waves 2 and 3, this has been a hot topic, keeping us going. I can wait for the official media blitz, this is just making the wait a bit more fun. In the end the fun is what it is all about. Enjoy the game, smile and laugh.

Sorry Chaos. I read too much of the thread at once and then wrote. My real point got lost at the end and that is that this is all about the fun with family friends or whoever. The playing and the searching and the anticipation. Have fun.

Ok i don't believe this but someone on youtube by the username of Peggy Wilson 1. Claims he has both light and dark 2. days that Light and Dark are being revealed on the 19th of december and he says it's confirmed. I asked for proof.
