Ugh, why is my guitar so high maintenance? [CLOSED]

Like I just got new strings on it and BAM-/I need to take it to the store to fix it because it won't amplify when I plug it into the amp. Ugh.

Is the speaker cable plugged in? and is it solid state or tube? Is the cable dead?

Everything is plugged in. I git a new cable about 6 months ago so maybe. The last time this happened I needed a new cable and it needed some cleaning inside of it. I might go to the music store today, but I don't know.
