i found Winterfest Lob star at walmart today
But im not really sure why they appear before winter
maybe you should check your local walmart if they had

yea i know i saw strange early winterfest Lob-star perhaps i nickname Santa Claws
but someday other walmart will more have after black friday or early before winter hopefully

I got mine today, on Black Friday, @ a Walmart in Orange, CA. They got 6 on the rack when I got there. Didn't expect to find any.

Check your local TRU. Mine in Fullerton just got a massive shipment of them in earlier today. They did not put them out because they to check two things: 1) street date and 2) wait until their computers update because it wasn't listed in their inventory.
I went today. Amici of was pretty empty, Skylanders had the front display nearly empty and Infinity looked like no one touched it.
I would not be surprised if TRU puts out Wave 3 early (part 1: Trap Masters, traps and Minis).

I don't work there, but I go a lot and I talked to one of the employees just as she was bringing in a shopping cart full of them. Yep. A whole shopping cart, so I don't think you'll have any problems finding them since they're a general release, not an exclusive.

Just maxed mine out today. His Soul Gem power leaves slightly vulnerable, but when he lands the attack it does 400 points of damage to any enemy in his proximity. In other words, short to medium range foes are....toast. And his Hard Boiled path alters his throwing stars any way, doing the same damage as the other path.

gamestop gets them in on saturday for another skylanders day and you can get a trap with them for a buck. If i had more money right now i'd jump on 2 or so off amazon to also save a trip but i may go for gamestop's offer for saturday instead. this just means all retailers will have him in if we do not get him on amazon. toysrus, walmart, target will also have him in stock too sometime this week.

Well, Trap Team seems to be doing well this year, but I can't help but remember back in Giants when a new figure would show up on Amazon or elsewhere and be gone in minutes. Winterfest is still up for order for $14.99 (and a couple third parties, $49.99 + $7.99 shipping - LOL) hours later. Actually, variants in general aren't that hard to find at all anymore, I've seen Jolly Bumbleblast in stores quite a bit as well - I wonder if they re-shipped him, but I have seen him throughout the year.

I considered waiting for Best Buy, but I figured go ahead and get it from Amazon since we have Prime and I was already ordering something else. Thanks to the OP, you can't find it just by searching on "lob star" - you have to search "winterfest lob star" or use that link. Best Buy has had the listing for a while (release date 11/27), but it's still "Coming Soon" and getting someone to look it up in the store is painful with all the seasonal employees that don't know how to search stock in the computer. I'm sure they will get it soon too, but it will save me a trip.

I will probably stop by gamestop on Saturday to get an EE Whirlwind, but now won't be hunting the WinterFest Lob-Star. I wonder if Activision will release any new Wave 3 trap masters before Christmas. I stopped at WalMart today and their Trap Team Skylander section seemed totally wiped out from Black Friday, except for starter packs.
