I bought it and I love it! However it did disappoint me that you can't play as villains... however if it is your first 3Ds skylanders game, you should be warned that some attacks are different, as well as having a dash and a double jump.

Yes, but you only can play as villains at certain levels, but it has an interesting story and gameplay

Yeah, no use of traps either. IMO, it's a $25 game AT BEST.

Can you still use your adventure packs atleast?

I'll admit that Gearshift's primary attack in Hoop Mode is better than rolling around and how Gusto is capable of sliding on his belly. However, I still like the console version more than the handheld one.

Very average. Enjoyable, but nothing particularly original or memorable. Running/game performance is noticeably poor at times, but doesn't ruin it, since you don't need precision.

i will say its good, of all the 3ds skylanders games so far it is ssa and tt. that are my favorites..

my playing time on 3ds skylanders games...

ssa - 10h 30min (that include 4 extra adventure lvl)
sg - 4h 35min
sf - 10h 33min (that include 2 extra adventure lvl)
tt - 22h 46min (1 extra adv.lvl so far, and i still keep playing it for collectables and online skystones)

i say 3ds tt is the game to get on the 3ds if you want a skylanders game on the go... also the tt adventure packs are totally different than the console version. so its two new adventures in one adventure pack if you have both games
