I'm guessing for the first half of wave 3 (trap masters, minis & traps) with a release date of 12/14 or 12/21 of this year. Those, to me, seem to be the logical choices since WFLS is scheduled to be released on 12//7. What do these dates have in common? They all fall on a Sunday.
Otherwise, the only other Sunday left is 12/28.

If they do an early release, it would be 12/7 (the earliest (most likely Walmart)). I figured this since they did put up the remaining Trap Masters for preorder on their online site, before removing them.
I've been out and about, keeping an eye out for them, so when the Trap Masters come out I can get them w/ Blastermind as top priority.

Where did you here about that, GhostRoaster? I figured 12/14, but did not expect January except for cores. But thanks to that info, I can hit my TRU first thing on that morning. I'm wondering if it's everything, or just what they planned (Trap Masters, traps & Minis)

I also predict TRU will get first shot at Wave 3A. Target will get Wave 3A on 12/28.

interesting i have actually seen mastermind,kaboom,tuff luck etc show up on the web page i order stuff from.. so these can actually come to the shop two weeks before xmas. if not they will be here most likely in the shops one month after xmas...

Skylander_chaos, where do you live? I got my Minis yesterday @ my local TRU, but I hoping it's the rest of Wave 3. Blastermind is my #1 priority, but once I get Ka-Boom, Trail Blazer and Tuff Luck, I'll have Life & Fire completed (I have the original Barkley & Whisper Elf when they were released as Sidekicks (still getting the TT versions to match the others) & I won two High Fives, but waiting for them to be shipped). So I'll have 3 of the original 8 Elements done. Just need the rest like everyone else.

I would think it's the minis. If it were Blastermind, some places would have already have sold him early by accident. This seems to be the case with the minis.

They're stock photos of the 3D models we've seen since the Skylanders website was officially updated, but in higher quality. So, slightly misleading.

I was told the minis were to raise hype, and have no street date.. BUT, wave 3 TM's are street dated! At least for TRU since they are getting them earlier than other stores.. Since my buddy is calling me to come by tonight, I'll be upset of he can't give them to me until tomorrow, lol, yeah right, I'm happy either way!! And can't wait to see my middles sons face when he gets to play BM on sat, of his birthday weekend!!

OK, I think we found out that these dated items are Lob Star. Wave 3 denied. Yawn. I guess we go back to sleep until mid Jan.

As for TRU getting them early, it's possible. At least for US Portal Masters. I would be happy if they did.
In fact, I used Small Fry to find the last two Trinkets hidden in the Academy. I just have the two you earn when your Portal Master Rank goes up.

I'm guessing it could also be WFLS. Not everyone was as lucky as Walmart to get it it early.
Or it could be all of the above: WFLS, Minis and the rest of Wave 3. Could be a limited release like they did for Gear Shift.....hmmm.

I live in Anaheim, CA (near Disneyland), so I have two TRU near me: Fullerton & Buena Park. Going to check both of them to see if they received anything new.

I live in Las Vegas, and it helps that I come there so much I'm on good terms with the employees

If they aren't out today or tomorrow, then it will either be this coming weekend (12/12-12/14) or the following weekend (12/19-12/21). Either way, it'll be before X-mas.

Yeah, it was WFLS and clear mickey! He had no idea I picked them up while out of town on BF sales.. It's cool, I was able to get some UPC numbers for what I'm waiting for

Well,my TRU had got shipments in last night, but nothing except Mirror of mystery re stock, the trap 8 packs, and the W3 minis.

Nothing at any of my TRU, so I'm thinking of next weekend like myskylanders said on his German site.

The top of my list is High Five.

Got my High Five yesterday in the mail from the contest. Just finished maxing him out and on the Speedy Slammer path. Pretty cool character. His attacks are moderate, except for his slam. That's powerful, but you got to be careful on that path. If you charge up his slam, it deducts HP from you. The more you charge it, the more HP you lose.
Going to get the rest of Wave 3 when they're out.

I seem to believe that due to the conjunction of prereleaseing between wave 3 figs and light and dark figs. That the "mystery elements" will be in wave 3

I believe that Wave 3 will be out on 12/14 after all the sales are over, at least for the US.
If what myskylanders said about the new elements packs being released on 12/19, more than likely they'll be out on 12/21.
Why? That's when TRU stores I go to put out their majority deliveries of Skylanders out.

So i went to Toys R Us today to see what they had. The only thing from Wave 3 they had were Winterfest Lob Star and Minis. I asked a guy there if he knew when Wave 3 would be out and if I should expect this Sunday. He said no because if they were he'd have them already because he always gets them for himself before the release date. He then checked the next shipment of stuff they'd have coming in and there was nothing for the rest of December

It seems like the initial release of a wave doesn't come on the trucks. It comes via FedEx or UPS and they don't always know that it is coming. It just shows up and they are then told to hold it or just put it out. That is always the impression I have gotten when I talk to the employees at TRU.

That and they have older figures in the mix for each case.
And if what you say is true, wah543, then they would be Jaunary.
But I doubt it. There was a post for a Walmart ad for TT figures, which had pics of couple of Wave 3 figures. So be patient....if we want them, they will come.
