They mention that Traptanium is "the strongest material in Skylands" and coincidentally they do it in the first game that Traptanium is introduced smilie

Oh, I meant the first game with traptanium in it. Lol. So Trap Team. I find it funny that when they introduce Traptanium to you they say that it is the most powerful material in Skylands.

Not sure I get the point... We had not heard of Giants in the first game, we had not heard of petrified darkness and swappers and the volcano that replenishes magic in Skylands before the third game. They won't talk about everything you can find in Skylands in one game.

i am sure it has a literary term, it happens in pretty much every novel, movie, tv series, video game etc that has a sequel.

book 1: John is the most powerful person in the world > protagonist defeats him > book 2: someone even more powerful than John threatens the world, even though book 1 clearly stated that John was the most powerful person in the world .

i think it is Chompy Mage who makes a joke in his boss fight about the sequentially increasing difficulty being the reason the skylanders keep defeating the villains
