Sorry this is one set of skylander's i am not going to open.
there are sticky tabs that hold them closed and i not going to remove them.
even if i am never planing on reselling them you never know what life is going to hand your way.

These are definitely "collector" items. Most of us have half a dozen of already opened toys of each of these guys. If I did get these the most I would do is register them in my save file.

Negative. The "paint upgrades" should have been quality controlled to begin with....three games later Activision decides to "upgrade" them??? No thanks. Theres nothing collector about them what so ever. They are freely available everywhere.....stock is in plentiful supply. I refuse to pay an extra $20 for a "pretty box".

don't forget the 3x power in "Trap Team"...
there tanks. will stem row over most stuff in game.

LOL @ 3x power.......WAS IT REALLY NEEDED??? REALLY??? Trap team was by far the easiest game to play with almost any character , other than the kaos fight. So does 3x damage matter? NOT $20 extra in my book.

PS: If you needed or need Eon's Elites to beat trap team, well, you need to find something better to do than play ANY kind of video game.

Not sure what you are getting at but myself and the sales assistant had to go through 4 EE chop chops to find one without an obvious paint defect.

Also, these are made to open - so easy to put back.

Also, these are made to open - so easy to put back.

I was getting at the point that the Original Series 1 figures in question, not the EE figures, should have been quality controlled to begin with when they first came out...in regards to any kind of a "paint upgrade" - other than the gold bases of course. Now Activision is charging more for a better paint job.
Its understandable that some want to get them, but in my book, I just can't justify the price. Maybe if they were "true" collectors editions i.e. , numbered , and certified in limited supply, with said certificate guaranteeing limited stock number and no further manufacture. Might be a different story in that case. But it isnt.

Kinda sucks that you had to dig around for one of these to find a decent paint job as well.....I figured that Activision would at least keep close tags on the Chinese 8 year olds hand painting them for hours on end. I kid, I kid. No offense intended. Just havin a little fun. Seriously tho, werent they advertised as having a better paint scheme?

^ yeah, the paint job was the selling point along with the case, and upgrade.. But they seriously shoild of sealed and numbered them for this price. If we weren't hardcore fans of skylanders, we would have never bought them..
