I don't know if that helped, but good luck anyway. Whenever I perform, I remember that the audience doesn't know the piece I'm playing very much if at all, so if I mess up they might not even know. Well, unless you completely stop or are way off tempo. Are you playing a song they'd be familiar with?

Why would you join the talent show? Even if you do mess up it's not like people are gonna notice considering that the people there are forced to be there.
