If these become worth something, I might get some, but I highly doubt that just because of how pointless these are and how these have become very controversial for being the big reveal at sdcc.

The won't be worth much unless they make it a limited release, under 10k or something. I doubt that will happen though, Activision isn't going to turn away money.

I keep going back and fourth on these. If Prism Break is earth, then he is a instant purchase...easily my favorite character in the series, though I wish it was the S2 pose and wow Pow.

What intrigues me though, and when these go live, I'm sure someone will dig into it, but how are they getting 3X damage in SAS with these? Its not like they are going to patch those games, so there must be a byte or something on the RFID that allows for such an upgrade.

Though I do fully admit, I don't like these being the S1 figures, it would be cool to have something for a character I really like *PB* to showcase...err...my affection? hahaha

Where are people getting the idea that the Elites will be 3x more powerful "in the original Spyro GAME"? The only thing Acti said was, they'll be 3x more powerful and that they chose characters that hail from Spyro. Assumedly, since the previous 3 games are already fully released, these characters would only be more powerful in Trap Team and going forward.

Characters aren't backwards compatible unless they were originally in the prior game. So yes, the elite would work in Spyro but I expect that it would show up as an original Spyro, not as an elite. Right?

It isn't specified but I assumed that these figures would be released under the "Trap Team" packaging, as a special subset of Trap Team characters. Am I missing something?

The article states that 'When used in any of the Skylanders video games, they'll be up to three times as powerful as the original toys'.
It does say up to, so probably means that they are the same as their originals in SSA-SSF, but it is misleading.

So, who has been confirmed as being included in the Eon's Elite 8? I have seen:

Chop Chop
Spyro
Whirlwind
Trigger Happy

Any others known at this stage?

I'm hoping Ignitor gets confirmed as the Fire Elite. If that's the case I will probably get him. But nobody else.

I wonder if/what wow pows they will get. I'm hoping chop chop gets his shield/S2 wow-pow, its so much better than double swords.

I totally agree, but they want to pound into our heads these 8 on each and every release.

Good question; no idea since this is more or less "first of its kind". I would hope it would note the "Eon Elite" with new stats.

The only way I'd even consider getting any of these cash grabs would be if they added a third upgrade path or two whole new paths.

I actually think they should have gotten nothing new as figures at all, just the packaging and the paint job. These are collectors items, they should not be considered in any way by someone that just wants to play the game.

Judging from that video no, the character models are exactly the same.

Terrafin vs Prism Break was even money, but the rest seem pretty expected.

Does anyone know if these figures will be able to switch paths? Or are they not Elite enough to do something as simple as that.

Not surprised by this either, but I really wanted Ignitor and Slam Bam to be the Elites since I only own their Legendary versions and I have plenty of Gill Grunts and Eruptors.

Supposedly, they come up as S2 figs in other games.

They come up as s2 in giants, and S1 is swap force.

I'm concerned about stats, they are OP in older games too?

Even says on bottom of package, that all eons elite are only elite in STT.. Kinda sucks IMO!

I disagree. When I used EE Spyro in Giants, I was able to change routes and the route was kept in Trap Team and Swap Force.

i was incorrect, you are right, they can path switch in Giants.

The forgotten 8 are forgotten for a reason. I doubt they will be coming back.

Now that I think about it, all the Eon's Elite's members are Skylanders that got reposed at least three times.

That may explain why other popular character, such as Drobot, Sonic Boom or Ignitor didn't received that title.
