well gamestop's ad is crap. i was REALLY hoping for something good since that's the only place my parents will take me. At least i can the the new voice video game half off.

Any updates regarding TRU's Rewards R Us Black Friday preview this Sunday the 23rd? It'd be cool to get a jump on the deals and save a trip to TRU next week.

Nothing about TRU, yet, but the Walmart Pre-Black Friday ad has been posted. They start on Nov. 21. The Trap Team starter pack will be $37 starting tomorrow. I know last year they did this and many people (including myself) were able to PM at Target and get a free figure. Does anyone know of any other deals between now and Thanksgiving at other stores that we might be able to stack with a PM? I can't seem to find any.

Personally I wish we had black friday be the week before thanksgiving or make retailers have a black wed and be closed all day thanksgiving right after it.

I was hoping gamestop was going to havea sale on the eon elites.. even if it was like $5 off or a free figure or something. I want the elites just i'd like them for $20 or less

^me too, thanksgiving is for giving, not buying, lol! But yeah, wed would be cool. As far as EE prices, just buy gift card for GS on a local site, as they are usually way cheaper than face value btw, I love the EE figures, but would of never bought them if they didn't end up being free..

Toys R Us has priced their starter packs at $39.99 for the deal of the day. It might be $3 more, but they have a free trap with a $29.99 purchase, so it may be worth the extra $3. You might even have luck with them PM'ing Walmart's price and getting the free trap, but YMMV on that.

Just picked one up at walmart for the 360! There were no signs on anything, but it came up at $37 when i scanned the price.

My Walmart had hand written signs up. Got my regular starter pack for the figures only. Hoping to unload the game & portal for $30 if I can.

My walmart did not honor the $37 price. Went to best buy and they price matched no problem though

I took advantage of the Walmart deal for the 3ds starter. It was very disorganized. I pass right by my local Walmart on the way to work at 7:45 each day so this was easy and thank you to this thread and its participants for the heads up. The Skylanders starter packs were marked down with a handwritten tag...but nothing else in the early BF ad was. They had already sold the TV's they had for $115 they had despite it not being 8 AM...How? I don't know...because it was supposed to start at 8. LOL. The other thing I was interested in was Dragon 2 for ten bucks. I did find it after some employee help that took so long I checked out well after 8...It was not marked but rang up for $10 at the register. Very disorganized...but in the end, I got the two main things I wanted. I figured there would be a line for the TV as the price was really good. I never get those kinds of great deals since people don't mess around when it comes to the BF deals, but I figured I'd see the line of winners walking out with their cheap TV prizes. Although, might have been an employee(s) snatched them since there were none at start time and no sign of anyone waiting for them. They said they only got 3 for the store when I asked about it.

I'm now only 1 Magic Trapmaster, Winterfest Lobstar and the light/dark stuff that will be needed from being done with this round. Not too shabby. Can't wait for my kid's b-day and Christmas...Getting close now.

Hahahaha...it's essentially them begging us to take a free LC Hex off their hands by offering a minimal discount off the regular price of 2 traps. But it's Christmas season and parents who get the email alert might not know any better that it's a shelf warmer.

Interesting. For some reason, my son has been begging me to get him a Lightcore Hex. We didn't get one, last year. I've seen her get marked down to $5 but always passed on her, but a couple of weeks ago, my son was looking at used Skylanders at a used game store and really wanted to buy the LC Hex. I tried to convince him not to and he wasn't happy about it. This might be an OK deal, if I can figure out how to spare the money. Anyone know if this is good in-store? Shipping would definitely kill the deal.

Might have to stop in today and see if the Lightcore Hex rings up that way.

Walmart.com has updated their website prices to $9 for only some of the Trapmasters...let's hope they program all of them to read in store for $9. One of the buddy packs is listed for $9 as well. Too bad they're not allowing online ordering for the figures right now.

Just a heads up not sure if it's a Black Friday deal, but the Swap Force Dark Edition was just reduced to $29.99 at a game stop in Western NY yesterday. Not sure if this applies to all stores or on line, but the store I went in had wii, Xbox 360 and PS3 dark editions reduced. They also had the regular starter editions reduced to $19.99 ( just saw a pS4 edition) not sure if it included all editions.

That sounds a bit...desperate...with all of the shopping season left to get rid of it. Frankly, I'm shocked they are still around. May speak to the reception of the game this year.

Picked up Jawbreaker, Krypt King, Wildfire, and Gusto for 38$ @ Wal-Mart.

Went to TRU tonight and the selection was absolutely atrocious for Trap Team. Maybe like 2 or 3 different Trapmasters and hardly any core figures other than Legendary Déjà Vu. No signs of wave 2 figures. Nobody seemed to be rummaging through the traps or giving a second glance to the many Legendary Zoo Lou's on the shelf. I did see that they've restocked the Giants legendary triple pack and Legendary Bouncer.

all of wave 1 and 2@tru by me...lots of wave 2 traps as well.....saw a few air toucans, air / fire screamers, even magic hourglasses. of course, i was 3rd in line to get in.
