I don't "rip" on younger kids exactly... I don't know/care how old folks on here are. I don't go to their pages to see their ages and/or stalk them... I simply don't care about that. I read individual posts and respond to them based on the merit of the post. I respond to a 10 year old in the same way I would respond to a 50 year old - I don't inherently think a kid is less mature - trust me. I've know 12 year olds that are more intelligent, respectful, and mature than people twice their age (although that was probably due to the groups I was working with at the time).

I have found that kids can amaze you with how much they understand and adults can amaze you with how little they know.

Kids should be treated differently because they are less experienced than adults. Also though they may be surprisingly mature for their age, they are still young and their mind frame is different than adults. Children's minds are wired differently than adults, I've taken a Child Development Psychology course, trust me. Now tell me you think the same now as you did when you were a kid? Nope. Your mind and thought processes change as you age.
