What? I don't think Skylanders is awful at all. I've never played the games. In fact, I think it's incredibly awesome for kids and very imaginative. Toys coming to life? I would have been all over that as a kid. I never said it ruined Spyro.

Spyro was a walking corpse when A Hero's Tail came out. The Dragon was put out of his misery when The Legend of Spyro came out haha.

I love the Classic games (Though I've only played Year of the Dragon and onward) including EtDF, but Hero's tale, while I LOVED it for a while, it brings back this odd feeling, not a good one, but a bad one. Not sure why.

As for Shadow Legacy and TLoS. Those games......I HATE them. I liked the first two, but once DoTD came a long, I realized how awful the games were, (Except for Ignitus, I love him). Everything, the story, the characters the levels. Don't get me started on Cynder.....

Skylanders was a grand return to Spyro's whimsical brightly colored, creative roots and I love it, possibly more than the original series.

Spyro 1-3 are the classic games. EtD could be classified as one but it lacks a lot in the originality department and has a crapload of game breaking glitches. Year of the Dragon on the other hand is the worst of the trilogy.

I like most. ETD would have been better if finished. I liked ANB and DOTD, TEN wasn't my thing. Waaaay too dark environments and ridiculously hard fights.
