Ok, so lots of people have been speculating the whole why is this called an action pack thing Well, correct me if I am wrong, but The Mirror of Mystery is level 22 and the Nightmare express is level 21. So, where are levels 19 and 20. Well, those are the two new new action packs Now, why are they called Action Packs if they just add in two more levels. Well, here is what I think. They either add in some new arena or Kaos' doom challenge. Or maybe they add in a new game mode? Yes, I do know they unlock the light and dark gates, the platforms, the elements, and all of that stuff. But, maybe they just might add in something else Tell me what you guys think in the comments bellow. This post shall be editied as new ideas or posts come rolling in.

I'm thinking it may actually be the adventure piece, the skylander, and a trap. Because it doesn't have magic items this way, they can't call it the same as the other packs

I actually think those packs, and in general the Light and Dark Skylanders will add a lot more, than just a few levels and some more playable characters.

First of all, they will have proper symbols, in the elemental podiums in the Academy, for when they pass by.
They will most likely unlock the final elemental platforms to reach the top of the Academy tower.
They they will also have specific turret for the Kaos Doom Challenge Levels.
I noticed a lack of elemental areas (the one where a certain Element is stronger) in certain levels, and I guess they will be filled with Light and Dark areas, when you'll add them to your collection.

Not to mention they will also have special Elemental Attacks, for the Flynn Ship sections.

But yes, I also think they could add new Arenas or even Kaos Doom Challenge levels.

Don't think they would add PVP, though.

Maybe it's just because it's a new element and it comes with a trap instead of... wait... do you know something?

I can assure you that neither Sunscraper Spire or Midnight Museum unlock PVP.
Don't get your hopes up for anything extra in them.
The stuff that relies on the new elements starts to work and you get an extra level for each pack, that's about it as far as I can see.
I don't know what is meant to come with them (a trap or items) so no idea if you will have to buy the traps on their own.

Might just bring in more arenas for Brock.

I think he knows something... Anyway i hope it unlocks PVP and a new Brocks Arena Challenge

Usually Adventure Packs add nothing extra to the game. No Pvp, no extra Arena Challenges...

It was the Battle Packs from the previous games that added more arenas for PvP and solo arena challenges. Some of what Drek had mentioned would be true, but I don't think anything else would be added to the arena challenges, and only the additional towers for Kaos Challenge
But....there's always that possibility

I personally think the reason theyre called Action Packs over Adventure Packs is because Adventure Packs dont unlock anything but a new level. These unlock a new element, which then allows you to get into the remaining gates and fully complete the game.

I can hardly wait for the new Action Packs to arrive.

have another look, Nightmare Express is numbered as chapter 21, i don't have the mirror yet so can't say what chapter it is.

as for what is in the Action Packs, there are no more magic items listed on the collection screen, the two location pieces are there though, so i am join to assume there are no more magic items, which means that there has to be something to replace them in the packs. i'm guessing it'll be a trap, possibly two along with the location piece and the core of the same element.

i'm not really expecting there to be anything else added from them.

Mirror of Mystery is Chapter 22. Skylander Boy and Girl know since they have it.

Well, if I remember correctly, Tower of Time still comes first, in the chapters selection screen.

My guidebook says SWI was first. But then the guide books are very unreliable.

Just checked SCL. ToT was released in Wave 1, while SWI was released in Wave 3.

Action Packs were confirmed long time ago, but, actually, we don't really know what's inside them.
There could easily be only the level pieces, or those and a Light or Dark Core, or even a Trap Master or trap.

What we know for sure is that there is no Magic Item, with them.
